Counting tiles

Counting the tiles during a game is allowed. Counting is particularly useful at the end of the game, when the counting can reveal the exact tiles of your opponent. Other useful areas is to check if a particular word is safe to place out (if all the dangerous tiles are gone) and for choosing the right wowel/consonant balance when swapping tiles late in the game. The disadvantage is, of course, that counting tiles is mind-numbingly boring.
There are apps that can do the tile counting for you, and that cannot be used for cheating, WLoH recommends the app Wordfeud Tiles.
