Be.enHopefully I´m not out of order by offering a piece of advice in relation to reporting instances of abuse. If within the ´framework´ of WLoH (English International), report immediately to WLOH Int Judge at wlohint@gmail.com, as previously mentioned. Furthermore, report to Wordfeud Support who also want to be informed about offensive/inappropriate behaviour.

The following are portions of email responses I received from Wordfeud Support, prior to becoming involved in WLoH tournaments, when subjected to vile abuse.

"ABUSE ISSUES

To report problems with other players, contact us at behavior@wordfeud.com Please include your username, the offending player´s username, as well as a short description of the issue."

Subsequently, "Thank you for letting us know about this behavior. The user has been sent a warning. Repeat complaints against the offending user will result in Wordfeud account deletion."

Please, don´t remain silent on the issue of abuse. The onus is on everyone to help remove undesirable players.

WLoH Int JudgeThanks for your comments Nicklondon, good posts from you and tydfil, I urge all members to take note. In my opinion tydfil was in no way harsh but simply explaining it is up to everyone to protect and support each other, a very beneficial point to make.

Trickivicki, I am comfused by your comment that you no longer have the email trail? I assume you mean the WF chat?

I don´t wish to accuse or blame anyone and am sorry it appears other members have been subjected to unnecessary bad attitude and been offended but I can´t help also being a little disapointed more evidence has not been sent to me. I have always prioritised preventing abuse above all else but as with most things in the league I am sometimes limited by lack of assistance. No matter, every day is a school day, lets move on. If anyone can still attain a screenshot of the chat please send it to me.

NicklondonWell I was the one that reported him via email with a screenshot and I have to take my hat off to the Judge whose response was swift, reasoned and decisive. If others had done the same then he would by now be permanently banned just from his behaviour in this group. May I suggest that anybody who is able to access his chat during their games, be they finished or left unfinished as mine is, sends such a screenshot to the Judge. Judging by what others have posted in the forum, my abuse from soumik9 was soft in comparison but nonetheless unacceptable. 20/05 2016 07:50:58
tydfilHi this group. I make no comment re an individual case. I do, however, think there is a general issue. If a player abused me in game I would have absolutely no hesitation in emailing a screenshot to the judge. I would feel no need to block/delete etc.. His/her feet would not touch before they were reported. This is a community and should be supportive and proactive. As a player, I find it disappointing that people are posting about abuse in the forum, only after the subject has been raised but did not bother using their initiative and reporting when it happened. WLoH Int JudgeYes that´s ok soumik9, as long as it doesn´t happen again there is not a problem. When someone is offended or insulted I don´t think it fair to insist they continue the game or that the result is counted. Awarding the game can be considered unfair on the other players in the group so following good advice from a friend I have decided to remove the agressor when this situation occurs. Let us forget this incident (unless it´s repeated) and start afresh next season.

A quick reminder that during the wait you should fully aquaint yourself with the rules, we ask all members to do so. See you next time which starts on the 27th of May :)

WLoH Int JudgeSoumik9, we are named the league of honour because we value good sportsmanship, trust and respect toward each other. It is not acceptable to aggressively demand an opponent plays quicker or call names. If it ever happens again you will be banned. You are being withdrawn from this season but may continue next season if you wish. WLoH ModeratorNickLondon - it is unimportant when an opponent resigns. The rules are clear...either score the game as 150-0 in your favour OR reduce opponent´s score by 50 points. You should choose the option which gives you the best spread of points, thus the latter would be appropriate in this case.

LoBotWow. Seriously. I don´t think I have ever seen such a superb party! HAAVARDIS and SOUMIK9 are new players in the league, welcome to you all! SPIDERWOMAN9 is the player here who has won most groups, with a total of 6 victories. TRICKIVICKI is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 8 back in season 99. JOHNMAC72 is a first-rate player who has been number 8 in division 7 in season 87. NURSERACHIT is the most frequent winner in the bunch in the last 25 seasons, with a frequency of 1.64 victories per loss. PHILO2U is the player here who most recently went undefeated through an entire season, it happened in 8. division in season 100. HONEYANDDINKI123 is a skilful player who recently was number 3 in division 8 in season 103. NICKLONDON is a talented opponent who was number 6 on this level last season.

The winner gets promoted. If I were to guess, I would say that trickivicki wins the season.
