WLoH Int AssistA quick reminder that whilst we want everyone to have fun we don´t like to see games resigned simply because you don´t like someone´s style of play. You´ve entered a tournament where people will use strategy to try to win. Spread is often an important factor in this competition so players are likely to press any advantage that they have instead of taking their foot off the throttle. The importance of spread means that resigning is almost always not in your best interests either; it is better to keep playing, take some enjoyment from the challenge of playing a different style of player and try to minimise your losses. In addition resigning unnecessarily may skew the results in a way that impacts promotion or relegation of your fellow players.

Posting a comment when someone resigns is good practice. It helps us admins differentiate between resignations and automatic results at the end of the season. My advice to any player is not to resign in the first place, but if you do, then don´t react badly to someone simply noting the resignation. You run the risk of coming across as a sore loser, or even worse breaking our forum etiquette rules. If you have concerns about a player then email evidence to the judge and we will investigate if appropriate.

neptun34@The_One2Dance: I have to play with the letters I get. If I have letters to play long words, I do that. If it´s best for me to play 1, 2 or 3 letters I do that. In wordfeud, like other games, most of the players try to win and use a strategy to win. If you have another strategy, it´s up to you. 5/06 2016 06:38:15

The_One2DanceYes I resigned. As I said to you-there was no "play" involved in our match; just a steady stream of 1, 2 or 3 tiles played for most of your turns. That to me is not playing. I enjoy the tournament by having great games. If I win, great! If not, that´s Ok too. Clearly you wanted to win more than have a great match, so I gave you what you wanted-a win. Enjoy!

Oh and BTW-I´m a SHE :-)

LoBotA tip from the rules: If the opponent resigns, you can either register a 150-0 victory for yourself, or deduct 50 points from the score of your opponent. Don´t register anything if the match never starts. LoBotYes! I love it when we gather such a good group! NEPTUN34 is number 5 on the list of richest players, for all groups in all divisions in all seasons. THE_ONE2DANCE is the player here who has won most groups, with a total of 4 victories. TRUPSTAR is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 7 back in season 103. HULLCITYTILLIDIE is a skilful player who has been number 7 in division 6 in season 102. ALANALANALAL ALAN is a wicked opponent who was number 4 on this level last season. LIN998877 is the tactically strongest player of the last 100 seasons, the opponents has merely scored the humble average of 266 points per game. JOLOSINA is the most frequent winner in the gang in the last 100 seasons, with a frequency of 2.63 victories per loss. HOTCROSSBUN is a outstanding player who recently was number 2 in division 7 in season 102.

NEPTUN34 and TRUPSTAR are not only great players, but beautiful individuals who supports WLoH and helps a silly old bot like me stay alive.

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. If I were to guess, I would say that jolosina wins this group.
