LoBotWe have the final results from Season 105, Div 5, Group 8. The group had a couple of bigger favourites, for instance stacdc, but in the end, pompeymark was strongest. Congratulations! 11/06 2016 09:30:07
tydfilThanks for posting feli; I can stop looking for marbles that I thought may be rolling round somewhere:)I may well be wrong but....I suspect you may be recalling posts re uns not found/not exact. Players have sometimes posted saying what does it matter? It matters a lot. There have been posts explaining that one of the reasons is that players should be aware that they are playing a league game. I completely concur re approach to league as opposed to a friendly. I have a very different focus if a league game and on a practical note I never tile count in a friendly but frequently do in a league match. It has saved me on many an occasion.

@LoBot/Eskil - have the rules been reworded in part? I am finding ambiguity but maybe it´s just those marbles getting loose:)

feli in nzHi Tydfil, I just re read the rules and ur right I can´t find it either BUT I have read it a few times but can´t find it, maybe to do with WF etiquette....I don´t think I dreamt it lol....but it makes sense particularly if ur challenged on the day the email goes out. Many wf players play multiple games at the same time and some games are played rather whimsically or with minimal concentration, and more effort is likely if the player knows it´s a tournament game. Anyway, learnt my lesson, next time I´ll make sure I check email before I accept any invites on WF email day! 4/06 2016 23:54:42
tydfilHi there deli in nz:) Sorry for the delay - slight problem due to Surface losing connection to WiFi. Never buy one - it causes me nothing but trouble and am looking around for an alternative. Anyway...... every day is a school day and I always look to learn. Duh at me - I can´t find where the rules say a player should announce a league game at the start of a match. Would you be good enough to copy and paste an extract from the rules and/or point me in the direction of where in the rules it says that? Think am losing plot:-/ I have only had one player make such an announcement in over 100 seasons.; it sounded v bossy and took me aback. I genuinely look forward to finding out more about this rule re announcing a league game. Many thanks in advance. 4/06 2016 20:49:51
feli in nzThx Tydfil I usually get the email on Sat. But this round I didn´t check till Sunday, too late! But the rules do say the invitee should let the opponent know it´s a tournament, different mindset for tourno games! 4/06 2016 18:08:56
tydfilHi fell - don´t you check your group and/or email? I always know if a player is in my league group. 3/06 2016 00:31:53
feli in nzCan you remind players that when they invite they should state it´s a tournament

Game especially when it´s on day 1 of the tournament. It´s a bit sneaky when you find

Out half way through the game.

WLoH ModeratorTo the group - Phoenix.Queen has been removed because this is a previously excluded player 31/05 2016 03:13:25
LoBotPhoenix.Queen was mentioned in the mail, but is taken out of the group. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you fine people. 31/05 2016 03:10:52
LoBotYes! I love it when we gather such a gifted gang! FELI IN NZ is the player here who has won most groups, with a total of 5 victories. ZEERI24 is the secondmost experienced player in the group, and has played continously since the debut in season 89. CWS923 is in great form and was just promoted from division 6. SCRABBLOR123 is a excellent player who has been number 2 in division 5 in season 101. POMPEYMARK is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 100 seasons), with 497 points per match (it happened in season 95 in division 6.) STACDC is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 5 back in season 103. CROACROZ is a intelligent player who has been number 2 in division 5 in season 104. PHOENIX.QUEEN is the tactically strongest player of the last 100 seasons, the opponents has merely scored the humble average of 318 points per game.

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. If I were to guess, I would say that stacdc wins this group.
