@The_one2dance, you have made similar comments before as well as another baffling accusation against a player who didn´t use enough letters per turn for your liking. Although we wish to tackle any deliberate slow play it is disrespectful to express a negative opinion about others without any proof. I see you have deactivated however you should be aware that if you change your mind and do participate in the future we will not tolerate continuation of these messages. You were previously informed of procedures to follow if you had concerns but yet again wrongly cast aspersions upon others.

All in all, this is my last season.

My advice is simple. Take screenshots of your game list. This will show the time elapsed waiting for an opponent to play. Try to gently encourage them to finish the game and keep screenshot of in-game chat. If game is still incomplete as the deadline draws near you can send your screenshots, plus screenshot of the board, to the Judge.

We really want people to complete all of their games, and not to try to avoid relegation by leaving games incomplete. That is why you will regularly see advice being given to send screenshots to the Judge.

When a season starts I notice everyone is eager to get the games underway and everyone plays until some games have finished and the "pecking order" begins to be established. When there are only a few games left to be completed AND the games left would determine who gets relegated, play mysteriously slows to a trickle and oftentimes players just stop. It is happening now and it´s happened 3 other times.

I am aware of a) the time remaining in each season and b) ultimately the outcome of unplayed games are determined by someone other than the players and c) can ask the player to take their turn (which I´m tired of doing). But I simply do not understand this: if you´ve played ALLLLLLLLL your other games seamlessly without issue, why stop? Isn´t that unsportmanship? Unfair to the player (me!) left waiting for you to take your turn every 4-6 hours or more, when I´ve watched you clock in every other game won/lost seamlessly? I´m wondering judges, since I HAVE seen this trend on at least 3 different occasions since starting the league, does this "strategy" work?

I just don´t get it. The possible explanations re: weekend/ schedules/ holiday etc has had no bearing whatsoever on this trend I speak of. That´s why I´m looking for plausible responses.

I want to continue playing in the league, but if this is the ´established but unspoken norm´-I´ll rather bow out......

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. With this many wonderful players it is hard to tell you who wins, but I guess Smokin69th ends up as the winner here.
