Wordfeud League of Honour

Alls well that ends well. We certainly don´t wish to tell people off with the sole purpose of stopping respectful disagreements and regret you think that may be the case. We will certainly bear your concern in mind and endeavour to prevent that ever happening. You and I are both of the same opinion on this subject as the league has benefitted from discussing our own differing opinion the few times we have had them ;)

This is a personal and unnecessary opinion about a fellow league member which was not based on fact and irrelevant to any constructive or necessary debate.

I wholeheartedly agree with the point you were making but a line has to be drawn as to what is acceptable and when it becomes personal by degrading someone´s character as well as insinuating nasty actions without any proof we must step in. I think you know I believe in free speech and don´t believe in censorship unless absolutely necessary.

I agree with most comments by the league members responding to raisethestakes initial unfair and unreasonable accusations however I think the contribution from WLoH Int Assist in achieving such a civilised and positive result is being overlooked.

Of course players are allowed to disagree. Mature, reasonable and constructive debate achieves so much! If we all thought the same way and had matching opinions what would be the point in any conversation outside of social enjoyment?

The issue here which needed intervention by a league administrator was a number of unreasonable accusations which were cast without any facts to justify. The league of honour is defined by its respectful and friendly ethos. That has always made it special and enjoyable for so many. I was very impressed by WLoH Int Assist´s post. It was completely necessary. The unacceptable opinion being expressed was personal and disrespectful. We will protect our members from such behaviour and I applaud the perfectly balanced and informative way my colleague dealt with it. It initiated the more considered response from the unreasonable party and helped to prevent further escalation. Thumbs up from me :)

RAISETHESTAKES and MEQ5 are tresourous people of a kind you would not believe existed, people who out of their pure generousity donate to WLoH and keep the site running.

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. If I were to guess, I would say that nekremmiz1 will top the table at the end of the season.
