WLoH Moderatorjep49236 - I understand your frustration, but at the moment we have to work within the rules/systems in existence. We need players to be proactive and notify us if incomplete games are going to effect promotion/relegation positions.

It is impossible to check every group. There are 128 groups in Division 8 alone!!

Be assured that the problem of players consistently failing to complete their games is under discussion.

jep49236It´s really a shame to have people who can´t be bothered to finish most or in some cases any of their games, in a tournament with people who want to play and enjoy playing. It´s very unfair to have tournaments decided by automatic rules because of this sort of thing but it happens frequently. Who would participate if they knew someone was going to ruin the season for all the rest by not bothering to play?

I call again for the rules to be modified to exclude people like that from future play. I´d suggest a warning the first time it happens, a 1 season suspension the 2nd time, and permanent exclusion the 3rd time.

If you don´t want to play or can´t keep up, then you don´t belong in the tournament. The requirement to finish your games in 2 weeks is minimal. It requires checking your phone once per day and playing a game. In probably 75 or 80 seasons, I have never been the cause of a tournament game being lost because I couldn´t bring myself to play.

Before the season started, *BEAVIS* was considered an outsider, someone who could win, but maybe not someone you should put the big money on. Wordmama1I inserted the score score of my last two games vs LadyJ2010 and damusicman. These games were not completely finished but we ran out of time. If this is not how we handle it please let me know and I´ll delete them. 9/09 2016 09:45:12
Wordmama1 I have been playing two games that are going extremely slowly and I´ve asked my opponents to play faster. I am in the lead however we are not going to finish these games in time due to this slow pace. I would like to get counted for winning these games if I am in the lead when time runs out. The current score for these games are 267 to 94 in one game and for the other game 238 to 145. Is that what happens or do we just both not get any credit one way or the other? 9/09 2016 08:24:53

LoBotThe season is close to its end, and wernerbuerstel is ahead. But if the last games are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and as it looks right now, *BEAVIS* may get the victory. The rules say that if you don´t finish the games, you may lose your promotion, the table judge may edit this group and may give the promotion to wernerbuerstel anyway. If you are *BEAVIS* and care about the promotion, I recommend either finish all games, or, if impossible, report current score in this comment field before deadline. 8/09 2016 00:28:32

LoBotWow, this is really a great party! JEP49236 is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 7 back in season 107. KRISSC12 is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 50 seasons), with 419 points per match (it happened in season 106 in division 7.) WERNERBUERSTEL is a great player who has been number 4 in division 6 in season 106. *BEAVIS* is a great player who has been number 2 in division 7 in season 109. JONES39150 is the tactically strongest player of the last 50 seasons, the opponents has merely scored the humble average of 43 points per game. WORDMAMA1 is a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious opponent who was number 6 on this level last season. LADYJ2010 is the most frequent winner in the bunch in the last 50 seasons, with a frequency of 7.0 victories per loss. DAMUSICMAN is the player here who most recently went undefeated through an entire season, it happened in 8. division in season 110.

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. I feel pretty confident that KrissC12 wins this group.
