Why not use this forum to discuss interesting subjects related to wordfeud or scrabble if entertainment is the cause for posting here?

I think I saw a post of yours demanding a reply last night but did not have time to respond. I believe you deleted that and posted a similar message this morning? We are volunteers and sometimes patience is needed when waiting for a question to be answered.

I am interested in the ´volumes´ our silence speaks. Feel free to expand...

@everybody else ..Lest ´just cause´ be lost sight of..a player was advised by the mod to enter a conservative estimate for a game that s/he said they did not recall. I didn´t think that giving themselves a win spread of 100 was conservative/appropriate for a game they did not remember playing. In the interest of trying to assist a very busy WLoH team through a turn of season I flagged it up. I also thought it may help the player understand what conservative meant. The mod reduced the spread. The player concerned posted to me in what I consider to be an impolite way but there you go. I replied. That player took exception.

I don´t know what other people´s definition of intimidating is but clearly, there are instances where it differs from mine; I see no post which I would consider intimidating in any direction. In fact I am at a loss to understand how a post in this forum would intimidate anyone but I guess we´re all different:) I have, however, felt disrespected.

@bridget I note that you take it for granted that the mod is criticising me and the cap´n. Interesting. @the mod I could have complained re Bridget´s posts in the beginning. I did not but maybe I should have done.

I was considering leaving the league but then why should I just because of Tydfil and CaptainKos.

I understand there is freedom to comment but my question to you is - why do you need to? Do you comment in other divisions? What is the payback for you?

Yes, I have won my games so far and I make no apology for that as I have been playing real scrabble for many years.

I find the fact you have such an interest in me rather disconcerting.

I think we should be careful about publicly insinuating anything about any WLoH members. Rest assured we are aware of current league topics so please assume we have plans to deal with them.

It is a similar situation regarding the investigation/intent to investigate case you refer to which was discussed privately. It is not in the best interest of the league to discuss that publicly so I will refrain from doing so.

I regret you being made to feel unwelcome, I assure you that´s not the case, your help throughout my time as judge is greatly appreciated, it is nice the previous judge has been so committed in assisting.

Does this player have some special status?

S/he is here writing about reporting people for cheating - is this implying s/he reported me? If so how as we have never played?

I find his/her comments unsettling.

I understand that new players should be made welcome. I also understand that not all new uns are new players. Which leads me to...@Bridget the rules do not advise re posting an ´unusual´ result. Experience would tell you that.

@the mod you clearly stated in the US league that admin´s role is to deal with queries and not ´mischief´. Doesn´t quite match the judge´s post re joint effort about cheating which leads me to.... @Neil you should have followed the advice on the rules page re reporting concerns and therefore I offer no sympath6y which leads me to....

@the judge I reported a cheat and was told not alone and an investigation would ensue. When nothing happened I queried it; I was advised that because there had been a recent investigation re the player there wouldn´t be another. I would have (not of:))thought that it would have been all the more reason to pursue it.

In response to Neil Hodgetts I had to post you resigned because I was entering a different score than the actual one as per rules.

When a player resigns we ask that the opponent announces on here why a result outside of the norm is submitted.

I have deducted 50 from him and entered 415-238 as per rules.
