The JudgeHi again. I am aware that Nicola has not accessed this page for a while but is signed up for the coming season. I understand that the un Nicola 77 is now freed up on Wordfeud. I do not know for how long that will be the case. If anybody is in touch with Nicola they may wish to let her know that she will need to lay claim to it on WF asap. If Nicola wishes to continue to play on WLOH and does have Nicola 77 as her un on WF, at the start of the new season then she should email me from the address that the WLOH email is sent to. Otherwise, I will have no way of knowing that it is the Nicola 77 registered in the league who is the ´owner´ of the un on WF (it could be registered again by someone else at any time). If that happens great. If I receive no email to confirm there is a problem. 20/09 2013 00:08:44

The JudgeI was not sure how to make this clearer. I think I have been handed the solution. Both Nicola 77 and Nicola77 are registered on WLOH. Nicola77 is inactive. Nicola however did not have her active WLOH un (Nicola 77) registered on Wordfeud.

To cut to the chase...what I thought may happen has happened. A former player on WLOH (who follows the posts) has now registered Nicola 77 on WF. I have a game with him on my list as we speak. I accepted knowingly. I will ask him politely to deregister the un and hopefully he will. I do not have time to address that now but will do so later today. At the moment if anybody invites/accepts Nicola 77 they will not be playing the person who was listed in the group.

This has happened before and on occasion players not only played but exchanged messages with somebody they thought they ´knew´ only to find that it was not that person.

If this does not illustrate why uns need to match exactly I honestly do not know what will. I do not say that uns need to match to be awkward or pedantic. There are very good reasons for it.

The Judge@Nicola - you will know from previous experience that if your un is not found on WF then you will be taken out for the season. As I have said in my earlier post, you got it sorted out at one stage but now the un listed is again not found. 9/09 2013 03:50:34
