Tydfil/The JudgeBefore anyone asks...there is sometimes a ´vacancy´ in a Div and if that is the case then either the number 2 is promoted or a player avoids relegation. It is very rare except in for what of people is a summer holiday season and players are skipping seasons. The way it is decided is based on ranking; see quote below.

"How do you calculate the ranking?

The ranking only takes the previous season into account, and is 5000 - (division no. * 1000) + (avg. points per game * 850) + (avg. margin per game * 4). Example of calculation: say you play in division 5, you played 8 matches, won 4 lost 4, hence got 8 points. You got a spread of 4400-4000. Then your ranking is 5000-(5*1000)+(8/8*850)+((4400-4000)/8*4)= 5000-5000+850+200 = 1050"

Lol am amazed it happened to me and facing the trauma of yet more defeat in Div 2;))

The JudgeHi I am also Tydfil and as I am the player whom,in theory, could have been affected by no result being entered for the game between arabella and the 3some am grinding no axe. It is unlikely the outcome of the season re relegation would have been affected and I am happy enough to visit Div 3 again. However, had another player been involved it would not have been unreasonable of them to flag up an issue. If you do not have your result then see the Rules page:

"I never got round to entering the result, and now the game is removed from the application, at my place and the opponent´s. What should I do?

Make a best guess and register the result. Make sure you´ve got the correct winner and approximately the correct point difference. Show moderation. If you could be promoted (or avoid relegation) due to this “guesstimate”, make sure you that the victory margin you submit is well within the truth."

LoBotyogi70 has won Season 55, Div 2, Group 1 and can add the virtual gold medal to the collection from the glory days. My guess is a bronce medal from 1.division is the one that shines the brightest. If virtual medals shines at all. What do I know. tydfilI need to explain something. I am a player but also the judge. I also live a real life. All of it makes things a little hectic sometimes. I had a tacit telling off from a player in this group a season or so ago for slow play. At the start of a season a judge is exceptionally busy. It is not just what you see on the screen - there are many emails to deal with. This is from tydfil and not the judge..do not try and bully me and be patient; aggression has no affect on me;)
