International JudgeAboyeur, the rules for this tournament have worked well and effectively since day 1 and there´s no need to change. The outcome of this group would not have been different had there been no autoresults applied as neither player was in the relegation zone. Myself and the admin team do our best to table judge groups which are affected by autoresults to ensure a fair outcome. Mostly we get it right, and if someone points out something we missed during season end soon enough, we can usually rectify that for the new season. Good luck in the new season. 15/10 2018 08:04:19
AboyeurThank you, judge, I will try to be philosophical. However ... In hindsight, facts remain. Phew has finished all his games and it seems unfair that he goes down whereas someone who plays only two days and ´picks´ his opponents with the purpose of ending up in the middle can comfortably stay and even gets a point for not finishing his game. He will perhaps do the same thing next time round, leaving other people with unfinished games. Why not introduce a rule that any games with a player who does not finish all games shall be left out of account and that such player can be relegated in any event? If you would have applied that in this tournament, the outcome would have been quite different. I tried to speak to the person in question, but he just says: people should improve their game (NB: he has the lowest score), and ´If you want to play with me it should be this Tuesday and Wednesday´ and "I have to time for (Worded)". Of course it is only a game and it may be a freak case and "shit happens" etc. and it does not matter where there is no relegation of the wrong person. I was just wondering how it might be organized differently. That is all. Thanks for everything anyway, the game is great. 15/10 2018 01:33:47
LoBotMy compliments to Footprints68 on the outstanding effort in Season 166, Div 5, Group 4! Before the season started, Footprints68 was considered an outsider, someone who could win, but maybe not someone you should put the big money on. International Judge** Nasty ** is relegated no matter what. Pheew is also in the relegation position. Without a game update (which I really don´t expect to receive as I only asked for it at the last minute), it goes to Lobots autoresults which will be a 0-0 draw in this case.

I try to be philosophical about it. People go up, people go down, some stay in the division. It happens every season. In the end, in the new season you get allocated to a group and a bunch of players and you play your games. This cycle repeats season after season.

Aboyeur Lives in another timezone, yes you are right. Has delays of over 70 hours, then decides he wants to play the last Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Apart from two letters on Tuesday, plays only Wednesday and Thursday. Perhaps OK if finishing all games. I am travelling transatlantic now.

International JudgeAboyeur, I´m not sure what you are posting about. This group looks fairly normal other than one outstanding game which potentially affects relegation. Some people play fast, some slow, some are busy week one but more free in week two, timezones play a factor too. It´s just life/reality. If you have screenshots, I´d be keen to see what it is you are referring to.

AboyeurI have been looking at this with great interest. My impression is that someone who plays only some games but not others should not be able to cause the downfall of any person playing all others, no matter who wins. Clearly, in this case, if someone plays only during the two penultimate days of the contest, that is extreme. They have an advantage over others because they can see whose game is important to them and whose is not. In that context, not finishing all the games is disturbing - for anyone who is relegated as a result of losing to one who is only partly in. I can send screenshots if necessary. 13/10 2018 08:16:42

LoBotNo. I cant believe this. It is a superb pack! DRIVER#54 is the Yoda of the group, with 89 seasons in this tournament. RYK2 is a outstanding opponent who was number 4 on this level last season. FALLENANGELII is the player here who has won most groups, with a total of 20 victories. **NATSY** is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 20 seasons), with 495 points per match (it happened in season 154 in division 5.) FOOTPRINTS68 is a magnificent multitalent and does also crush opponents in division 2 in Wordfeud US English while playing here. NICKI-1 is a awesome opponent who was number 4 on this level last season. PHEEEW is a fabulous player who has been number 8 in division 4 in season 148. NEMESIS_RT5 is the tactically strongest player of the last 20 seasons, the opponents have merely scored the humble average of 333 points per game. ABOYEUR is the most frequent winner in the pack in the last 20 seasons, with a frequency of 3.88 victories per loss.
