Wordfeud League of Honour

Unfinished games are in danger of affecting the outcome for the group. I had 3 unfinished games earlier today and so I sent sent/exchanged polite messages with my opponents - and I do mean polite.. They all responded. It works most of the time. I have one game outstanding and know there is a problem due to my opponent having had connection problems and that we are in different hemispheres. I am sure that player will do their best to finish as will I. Lol I am being slaughterd;) I would have no hesitation in sending a shot of both the board and messages to anybody in the group.

@the players with games outstanding - you should send me shots of your boards and messages showing you have exhorted your opponent to play. We are all experienced players in this group. I will not allow the table to be affected by games being left unfinished without evidence that attempts were being made to complete. Lol I could sit back and say ´´twas too late´ and take a win, regardless of the fact that I am losing - there ain´t no honour nor self respect in that though;) (I am aware of the double negative but like it for the moment.)

@jack and justbond in particular you need to reach a resolution re your game. Did neither of you keep a record? The table´s outcome will not be determined because of memory loss. You will be aware that players have been advised to do so on many occasions.

@rodwek are you having a particular issue re not finishing games? After I sent you and quote, ´a gentle reminder that the deadline is approaching´ you played and I thank you - ´twas cut and thrust game which I enjoyed all the more . I look forward to games being finished or receiving shots re the problem in good time not with e.g. half an hour to go before the deadline.

@everybody my tolerance groweth thin with people not knowing their own results. Record them.

@Rick I see that, on at least 6 occasions, you have entered scores in which you did not play. It would be helpful if you took a little more care in the future. It causes consternation and, indeed, involves time to sort these things out. It only takes a second to double check that one of the players that you are entering a result for is yourself and that it is against the correct opponent. If it is not then just a couple of seconds more to correct it. @everybody would you please make sure you are entering appropriate results. Many thanks.
