The Judge	Thanks Monty .. am thinking. Lol I know in both heart and mind the answer is to block people entering results for a game in which they have not played. The biggest problem solved would be a malicious attack. I am making an open appeal to you lobotommy make it so nobody can enter a result for a game they are not playing in - if you think that is unreasonable and you wish me to resign as judge I accept your view and will have no issue - lol would make life easier;)	20/12 2014 15:57:53
monty022	Thank judge, I´m not disagreeing with your suggestion at all. I had an email exchange with the oracle lobotommy and he said it was a design choice to allow friends and family to enter scores for each other, plus more convenient for people with multiple usernames. He even had a stat saying his records showed over 35000 entries like this. I guess the frustration for you is you get lumbered with the downside of this functionality with all the oops, sorry, mistakes, careless and malicious entries made. He wouldn´t change his beloved design for my pleas, but perhaps he would be more open to your suggestions to make a change like this to save you pointless hours fixing our oopses. I know it´s just a matter of people being more careful entering results but every season this occurs to some degree (let alone malicious attacks) and if nothing changes, then you will be fixing oops results every season for eternity. Maybe a rule whereby anyone entering an incorrect result loses the match 0-150 or is automatically relegated the following season might make people take more notice when putting in scores. Or perhaps we can dream of a "send scores to WLoH " button in the wordfeud app itself as a means of entering scores to this site in future. The Judge	Hi Monty - yes that would reduce it to a degree but by no means solve the problem. There a lot of erroneously entered results that do not involve the player logged in. The first thing I would choose to do is make it impossible for any player to be able to enter a result for a game that they are not involved in. I know it can be done. It may cause a minor inconvenience for people who enter results for family members etc.. I don´t think that is a major issue. The inconvenience would be scant compared to the effect on other players and judges. It would also ensure that no player could meddle maliciously. I would add that most scores entered incorrectly are done in genuine error.	20/12 2014 03:17:33

The Judge	@jasonbols thanks for the suggestion re deducting points - not sure how practical it would be but... lol we have yet another instance of erroneous scores - see community page! Any suggestions welcome. @maryrema I will be honest. I find nothing to ´lol´ about re my time being taken up with erroneous results being posted although I have both the wit of the Irish and the Welsh in my make-up. I suspect it may be a good idea if you revisited previous posts both in this group and the community page in general. I skimmed over the fact, earlier, that the situation had appeared to have escaped you. I was being polite. The subject has been much publicised. The idea is that you check to ensure the uns are correct before entering not afterwards. May I add that I have no idea why you thought Sharonmees had entered an incorrect result; you clearly had not understood my post - apologies if it was unclear. @franrivas when I looked yesterday you had not entered English International with the un franrivas since November 13th nor had you entered via the Spanish League. maryrema	Yes Judge...I was entering a few scores at the same time and for some reason or other after entering the first it reset from my un to franrivas as I entered the second match result....also with the third...I always check to make sure that the info is correct once I´m done entering and that´s why I simply deleted and re entered correctly...think this happened me when I first joined the league so I´m aware of it....the difference here is that I was adding scores for multiple games so I will recheck when same arises :-)	18/12 2014 21:12:30
The Judge	Hi. @lyndakprice - If you didn´t enter the result then it must have been franrivas, somebody outside the group or a player in the group entering the league under a different un. @franrivas can you shed any light? Players can delete results using the delete button but I would prefer to leave it at the moment in hope that we can establish what has happened before deleting. Whilst I am here @maryrema in my search for a conclusion I note that at some stage this season you entered a score for a game in which you did not play - franrivas v sharonmees. The result is no longer there. Please ensure that you check that you have you versus your correct opponent lined up in future before entering a result. Yet again we have results being entered erroneously. Apart from causing confusion it has taken nearly an hour of my time searching for the culprit and it will take more of my time before we achieve resolution. I also have RL to get on with and also my own games to play (apologies to my opponents for disjointed/slow play). I am not happy that almost every day I have to spend my own time dealing with this sort of thing when it easily avoidable. Players need to take responsibility for entering their results correctly.	18/12 2014 20:58:57
