WaynieBobI agree. Too many still playing when it is obvious they won´t win season especially in Division 8, no relagation. Don´t know what solution is, I´ve been on both sides, maybe over time it evens out. Still just a game, for fun, take pressure off yourself, I go up& come back down, most do. 31/03 2019 07:10:13
spenna1805I understand what you are saying WaynieBob but it´s all a bit subjective. At the end of the tournament I was leading Kwabenshot by 25 runs,but I did beat Picklefish by 97 points as opposed to your 23 point margin and beat Quak973 by 45 whereas you claimed a 150 point margin after he resigned although it may have been different if the game had been completed.Just a great shame that so many games never get played out to completion. 31/03 2019 05:44:57
WaynieBobSpeena1805, let me help you understand. One of the 160-0 Victories you had was against Kwabenashot, who defeated me. Say you had won that game, but by 60 points. You lose 100 spread points. What place are you in then? I know it´s disgusting, but if you had played Kwabenashot, do you really think you would have won by 160 points?

spenna1805Have to accept your placings, but surely you have to acknowledge that you can only complete games if your opponent is willing to play. I could not have done any more to complete the games. Very disappointing to top the group and not get promoted.

LoBotWhen I entered the automatic results in the unfinished games, spenna1805won the group. The table is what it is, but the rules makes it difficult to get promoted without finishing the games, so I have suggested for the table judge that WaynieBob is promoted instead. 30/03 2019 08:04:33
LoBotThe season is close to its end, and WaynieBob is ahead. But if the last games are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and as it looks right now, spenna1805 may get the victory. The rules say that if you don´t finish the games, you may lose your promotion, the table judge may edit this group and may give the promotion to WaynieBob anyway. If you are spenna1805 and care about the promotion, I recommend either finish all games, or, if impossible, report current score in this comment field before deadline. 29/03 2019 00:20:26

PICKLEFISH is the secondmost experienced player in the group, and has played continously since the debut in season 79. SPENNA1805 is the most frequent winner in the gang in the last 30 seasons, with a frequency of 1.38 victories per loss. QUAKE973 is a good opponent who was number 4 on this level last season. WAYNIEBOB is a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious player who has been number 2 in division 7 in season 142. SHARREN is a erudite opponent who was number 8 on this level last season. KWABENASHOT is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 7 back in season 174.

WAYNIEBOB and GUNCAKE are tresourous people of a kind you would not believe existed, people who out of their pure generousity donate to WLoH and keep the site running.

The winner gets promoted. If I were to guess, I would say that Kwabenashot will top the table at the end of the season.
