con-vinceThanks judge it´s helpful to be reminded of those aspects such as time zones etc. My opponent said he/she played when time permitted. I don´t think it made any difference to promotion or relegation. 25/01 2015 09:02:46
The JudgeHi con-vince - you have nothing to apologise for. As I said players should not be pressurised into playing in a rush at the end of the season. I think that we all have to remember that we have different personal body clocks, different time zones and various other things going on. As an example - at the turn of a season, from the evening on the Friday (the deadline is 1am Saturday my time) I am normally dealing with emails etc.. I appreciate that whilst I am doing that, at say 11pm my time, another person has finished work for the weekend, it´s 5/6pm and they are relaxed etc.. They may be happy to play, I would be under real pressure. There are 2 weeks and I think that communication would help in lots of games. A polite exchange of messages and/or a nag email from the sign up page is often helpful.

@con-vince - I don´t know who your opponent was but hope it didn´t impact promotion/relegation. I posted earlier on the subject in another group.

con-vinceI agree judge, and you are right, and I apologise. I have re-looked and made a mistake. However the game was dragged out over the two weeks leaving me up to 11pm on the last night to play.

The JudgeHi con-vince. Yje point I was making in a previous post touched on players not being expected to play in a rush at the end of the 2 week period. I am puzzled by the scenario you describe. I don´t see how it would be possible for a player to go from 10th to 22nd with their turn outstanding. They would have been timed out and automatically resigned by the app after not taking their turn in 72 hours. 25/01 2015 00:57:52
con-vinceLast season I played someone who played on January the 10th then did not take another move until the 22nd!! The season ended two days later!

Whilst I appreciate two weeks are allowed for the games this is hardly using the two weeks. Probably didn´t help that I lost.
