Mindiana jones 18	Thank you Judge! I know it may seem like I complain a lot but really when I get to a point where I´ve noticed a few things then it turns into this huge post. It´s not that I´m upset...usually just confused. I still am by far a very happy participant and contributor. I also complain that Realtor is not accepted by any dictionary but that does no good either because it shouldn´t be accepted LOL! I appreciate the difficulties your team faces when trying to integrate all these moving parts and make everybody happy without reviewing a screenshot of every single game and calling people up to see how things are going. Again, just joking. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I´ve learned a lot more today about the tournaments and appreciate it. I have been extra busy lately so that is why I am in this division and why it seems to me that things have changed. My patterns have changed as well and I should have noted that to begin with. I still will be sending out my invitations. By the way, I have never invited somebody through the app a 2nd time for a tournament game. I´ve only used the nag feature you offer on "Your Page." I believe it lets me do that as soon as I want to but I could be wrong. Again, thank you for all the information. Judge US League	MINDIANA JONES 18. Your post contains several points so I will try to deal with each of them. It is always a good idea to issue invitations early in the season in order to maximise the time you have for your opponents to accept and for those games to be completed. An invitation remains ‘active’ for 72 hours so if you are able to send another one in s that time then your first one must have been rejected. In division 8 we have a problem with new players who sign up and then either change their mind or simply forget. In order to address this LoBot now assigns new players a group within the first week, rather than making them wait until the next season. The system is in its infancy so we will have to wait to see if it has a significant impact on participation levels. I fully appreciate the frustration of being in a group of players who are less than active but by deliberately failing to issue invitations you are jeopardising your chance to gain promotion to a division where this problem is greatly reduced. In regard to you being awarded a 160-0 loss automatically I must refer you to our email conversations of 19th April when I explained how the system works and assured you that you were not being deliberately penalised by LoBot’s automated scoring algorithm. Basically, if you have completed fewer games than your opponents LoBot will deem you to be the slower player and will award your opponents the 160-0 win. If you have the same number of incomplete games LoBot will award a 0-0 draw. If you have played more games then you will get the 160-0 win. In essence this encourages players to be proactive in instigating and completing games. If a player has no results registered at the time of the deadline their account is automatically deactivated. As we are a sister site to the main Wordfeud app we are restricted in what we can do. We cannot see who sent the invitation so we are unable to penalise a player for not accepting. Finally, I’m not sure what device you use to access the site but if l have a lengthy response to make I type it into my notebook, check and edit it then copy and paste it into the forum comment box.	26/05 2019 02:33:22
Mindiana jones 18	I have one more request for the judges/rule makers. Could you make it possible for us to be able to edit our last comment instead of only being able to delete it and type it over? At least I´ve learned at this point to copy what I´ve written every couple of lines in case I made typos or any other mistakes. And even then I don´t catch everything that I would like to change because we can only see one or two lines of our comment as we type. I´m laughing because you probably do that 2 hopefully prevent people like me from going on and on and on writing books instead of comments LOL!	25/05 2019 21:19:56
Mindiana jones 18	I would just like to make a comment about game invitations. As long as I have been playing in this tournament I take it upon myself within the first day to invite each opponent in the group. Many times if they don´t reply, I even make the extra effort to "nag" them to respond to the invitation ("nag" is a feature the tournament offers on one of the various tabs). If somebody does not accept an invitation and does not respond to a nag, there are no specific consequences. For me the results are the same as if we played a partial game but didn´t finish. Unless you notify the judges before the exact second of the deadline,lobot the designed-to-be objective program assigns automatic scores. In my case this usually means that lobot objectively grants my non-opponent 160 points and I get zero points plus the loss. I feel there should be a new rule that somehow penalizes somebody that does not accept an invitation, especially if they are given a second opportunity through the nag feature. And possibly a rule that whoever sends the invitation gets a very small point advantage, like 10 points maybe added to their score for that game. Although it does seem silly to try to find ways to encourage people to do what they should want to do anyway. IMO, a player should be penalized for not accepting an invitation especially if they were given two opportunities if nagged. And I find it preposterous that´s a person who does not reply to an invitation can actually when that game against the person who invited them! So last season and this one, I decided to send no invitations. And each time only one player has invited me to a game. During this particular season I must recognize the outstanding effort that beef supreme put forth to send out an invitation and not be lazy about it. For that fact alone, he actually went above and beyond like any other player was willing to do. If you are too lazy to send your fair share of invitations then get out of the tournament and just play random people on your phone app. The rest of you will get an invitation from me when I get around to it. And then those games probably will not get finished and lobot for some reason will automatically decide that I´m the one that lost by 160 - 0. I really hope that some rules can be built in to avoid this benefit some players get for being lazy. And hopefully there would be a harsher penalty for the people that can´t even respond when they are invited. That is just lazy beyond laziness. So I doubt my comment here will change any policies, but players please take it as a general request to do your fair share and not just assume everyone else will do it for you. LoBot	A superior lot! AMY 75 starts a glorious Wordfeud League of Honour career this season, good luck, and when you reach the top, please remember your old friends. INDRN is number 6 on the all time table of division seven, for all groups in all divisions in all seasons. MINDIANA JONES 18 is the player here who has won most groups, with a total of 12 victories. _BEEFSUPREME_ is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 5 seasons), with 319 points per match (it happened in season 181 in division 7.) NEW GUY (1066) is a virtuoso opponent who was number 5 on this level last season. QUADRE32 is the most frequent winner in the group in the last 5 seasons, with a frequency of 2.17 victories per loss. SKYWALKER83 is a terrific opponent who was number 6 on this level last season. QUADRE32 and MINDIANA JONES 18 are not only great players, but beautiful individuals who supports WLoH and helps a silly old bot like me stay alive. The two best players are promoted.
