LoBotThe season is close to its end, and Desat is ahead. But if the last games are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and as it looks right now, access09 may get the victory. The rules say that if you don´t finish the games, you may lose your promotion, the table judge may edit this group and may give the promotion to Desat anyway. If you are access09 and care about the promotion, I recommend either finish all games, or, if impossible, report current score in this comment field before deadline. 5/09 2019 00:55:40

WLoH ModeratorInsomniacookie - in situations like this I advise you to screenshot your game´s list on the WordFeud app, plus both boards. Send as attachment to wlohusjudge@gmail.com. To avoid confusion ask your opponent to resign the game being played in the incorrect format. Obviously you can resign when it is your turn.

The correct format is English US dictionary and normal/standard board.

Insomniacookie Hi, thanks for your response, but if you reread my message you’ll see that I was playing with the standard English board, my opponent was not. He had started another game with me using the correct board. The first game still shows up as in play. Can I ask him to resign that game, to eliminate confusion? 25/08 2019 11:36:38
Judge US LeagueINSOMNIACOOKIE. If you check your games’ list you can see which dictionary you’re using. It’s the English game (US) dictionary which is valid for this league. It sounds like you’re playing the International Dictionary and if so that game is invalid and you’ll need to restart. Insomniacookie Just to quickly follow up on my message - another vocabulary conflict already played is “Gu” which went through for Desat but would not on my board. Obviously playing with 2 different sets of rules won’t work! I took a screenshot of the board if you need it. 25/08 2019 08:04:49
Insomniacookie Hi - Desat and I have started a game, but there’s a problem: we’re playing with two different boards. Mine is standard English & his is international English. We’re only a few moves in and already there’s an issue - he played “Zo”, which would not have been accepted had I played it. I’m actually very surprised there’s nothing built in to the app to force same-board play only. Anyway, what to do here? Is a restart possible? I’ll pause the game until I hear from you.
