WLoH Support@nwzmanji1: I think the best thing is to delete the result. That way you will be awarded an automatic win as described in the rules, and Your turn ?? will be automatic deactivated when the new season starts. That way Your turn ?? can rejoin us when or if the name-problem is solved. It´s no good to have players running around in the league with names that can not be found in Wordfeud. 30/05 2015 02:13:54

WLoH Support@nwzmanji1: That was a strange decision from Your Turn ??, just invite one player and leave the rest... What´s negative is two things: If he won against other players without registering results it can make a difference on the whole table, and the fact that with a registered result he will not be deactivated from the league, although he haven´t followed my message to fix up his usernames.

As described below, those special symbols that Your Turn ?? have in the Wordfeud app does not work on this webpage. Any special symbol like that gives just a ?? here. He never changed his username, not here or in the app, to match up. If he want to play with us he has to change his Wordfeud-name to something that works here, and then change his name here to match his new name in Wordfeud.

As far as the game is concerned I was challenged by "yourt turn ??" and since I had not invited him/her I assumed that the username may have been changed. I think rules allow change of username.

Since you have the email of " your turn?? "

you can verify if indeed there was a change of username.

I had played that game and in good faith posted the result. If you feel that I should delete the result then by all means I shall do so.

I had also informed" Kerving bee " of this.

WLoH Support@nwzmanji1: Could you please send a screenshot of your game against "Your turn ??" to wloh@betr.no ? I need to see that you have actually played "Your turn ??" (with the ??-marks), and not any similar player. I can find a "Your turn", but that one and any other similar names is probably for other Wordfeud-players, not even registered for the league. 28/05 2015 08:29:07
monty022KB, and especially nwzmanji1, the advice provided by WLoH Support below about playing usernames exactly as they appear listed here is crucial to ensure we all play the same opponents. Given no one can find Your Turn ?? as this site struggles with emoticons, it does indicate that nwzmanji1 has posted a score for a match against an incorrect opponent. As WLoH Support has stated, matches against usernames other than those listed here are NOT valid league matches. That result should be deleted by nwzmanji1.

You are all first time players here and still coming to grips with the rules and requirements of this league so there is a lot of forgiveness to be given for innocent mistakes or uncertainty with rules etc. I should point out that I´m just a fellow player like you (with a few more seasons under my belt) so my advice or suggestion is nothing more than that. WLoH Support and Lobot/Lobotommy are the judges here and their responses/posts need to be complied with.

I know your concern is that nwzmanji1 might win the group due to an innocent but ultimately incorrect win against Your Turn ??. If we assume nwzmanji1 doesn´t read this post and doesn´t delete their result, they are actually disadvantaging themselves as the win they have recorded has a spread of 98 points. The default win Lobot will give all other players for matches against Your Turn ?? Is 150-0. So they have the same win as everyone else but 52 points fewer.

Ironically nwzmanji1 isn´t your main threat here (no disrespect). What I have found over many seasons is its not how many you win, but how many you lose that matter. Nwzmanji1 has locked in 2 losses, you have locked in 1 loss, therefore hostie_rach with no losses to date is my favourite to win the group as it currently stands.

Kerving BeeThanks for the advice. But... How does the Bot know if a recorded result is factually accurate? No disrespect intended to nwzmanji1 but he searched and found an alternate name being used by Your turn ?? and recorded the result of his game against that player, Your turn :-) here. I have tried contacting that player to play him/her as well but without success. I have sent mails to both Your turn ?? and Moffles as per the advice here, also without success. As it stands nwzmanji1 leads the group because he (and only he) has a result recorded against Your turn ?? - but will that result stand? 27/05 2015 20:41:53

monty022KB, try the rules tab. It has a bit that explains what happens at end of season with incomplete matches (which includes player names not found). Lobot has an algorithm it goes thru. He awards a win to the player with more completed matches or a draw if you have the same number of completed matches. Given the playername cannot be found, no matches will be completed for those players so the rest of the field will be awarded default wins 150-0 at seasons end. 26/05 2015 22:58:48

monty022KB, the rules tab at top of this page explains what to do when a player resigns. You have 2 choices, 150-0 or take 50 off your opponents score, whichever gives you the greatest spread. Cheers. 22/05 2015 23:48:37

WLoH SupportOur rules says that all players need to have the same username here on the WLoH webpage as they have in Wordfeud, so that the other players can find them when they try to invite, and understands that it´s a league-game if invited. So their usernames must be changed here or in the wordfeud-app so they match up. Here the username can be changed on the Sign up-page, using the "Change username"-function.

Also, any special symbols (emojis) is not supported by this webpage, so any user with thos symbols in their Wordfeud-name must change it to something without it, and then match it up by changing it to the same here.

Any game played with another username than the one listed in the table is not valid as a league-game.
