US UmpireNICKLONDON the rules state that you cannot gain an advantage for unfinished games therefore it was quite correct that VIMALRP was promoted while you remain division 8. The situation may well have been different had you alerted us to difficulties in completing the game with ziziworld, but there were no posts from this group at all during the season. The group was judged on the available information so in future if you think the outstanding games may affect your chances of promotion please post the interim score to the forum 12/04 2020 09:49:49
NickLondon I’m sorry but I think that’s an unfair automated promotion, or more accurately unfair promotion for me. I am the only person to lost just one game and only one game with ziziworld was outstanding. As a late joiner she only finished two games and was very heavily defeated in both, so to punish me for her not completing our match which she was losing, is unfair. LoBotWhen I entered the automatic results in the unfinished games, NickLondonwon the group. The table is what it is, but the rules makes it difficult to get promoted without finishing the games, so I have suggested for the table judge that vimalrp is promoted instead. 11/04 2020 09:10:24

But if the last games are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and as it looks right now, NickLondon may get the victory. The rules say that if you don´t finish the games, you may lose your promotion, the table judge may edit this group and may give the promotion to kimbo6950 anyway.
