stgeekWow, I don´t know what to say -- except that I´m confident I´ll see most people here in a couple of weeks´ time!

From my games and chats with Bguitar, US Judge, I understand he´s in a very different time zone to most of the rest of us, so he may not be in a position to respond to your query before the deadline.

Judge US League To the group. As promised I have looked carefully at the results this season with regard to XENAK/XENAK2. I had, with the agreement of the player, decided to promote the top ranking account in the event that both usernames won their groups. That would have been XENAK2 but as things stand in division 2 group 1, with so many incomplete games and so close to the deadline I cannot promote the second placed player in that group. I have, therefore, decided that XENAC will be promoted and XENAK2 will remain in div 2. That means STGEEK will be promoted from this group. 29/10 2020 19:54:34
LoBotAfter an incredible season xenak2 has finally dug the teeth into the gold medal of Season 219, Div 2, Group 2. I am not that surprised, xenak2 is an old hero who once tasted the silver of 1.division. It is the 2. time that xenak2 wins a group at this level. 29/10 2020 00:24:15
LoBotAt the moment, Bguitar and phillyphil36p is in the relegation spots. But in the games that are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and that may cause Doc Steen and phillyphil36p to go down. The rules state that you cannot get an advantage simply by not finishing your games, so the table judge may edit this group with respect to relegation. If you have intel on unfinished games (current score, reason for delay) that the judge ought to know, I recommend posting the information here before deadline. 28/10 2020 15:17:37

Xenak2Hi stgeek! A couple seasons ago I was competing in D1 as xenak2 and I won D2 as xenak. The judge determined the fair solution was to not promote xenak to D1 because it wouldn´t be fair to compete against myself. I doubt I will win both D2 divisions (and actually the reason is because you CRUSHED me lol) BUT if that happened hypothetically, both the judge and I would make sure I am not competing against myself, and I assume only one account would be promoted. I do wonder how that would be determined, which account would be promoted, but since they are both me, I wouldn´t care much which one is promoted :) 18/10 2020 20:22:28

xenak is clearly a very talented player and has a history of competing at the highest levels of our fortnightly tournaments. Like me, he has two accounts (xenon and xenak2) (for transparency, my two accounts are stepbr and stgeek).

I know it may be hypothetical but what would happen if xenak wins Division 2/Group 1 *and* xenak2 wins Division 2/Group 2? I assume you wouldn´t promote both accounts, so presumably it would be the account with the higher rating that went up? I notice xenak´s current rating is 4352 whilst xenak2´s rating is 4661.

LoBotGosh, this is an intelligent lot! MOULPAL is number 3 on the all time table of division two in the league of honour. PHILLYPHIL36P is the player here who has won most groups, with a total of 34 victories. STOGIEBELL is in splendid form and was just promoted from division 3. STGEEK is a superb player who has been number 3 in division 2 in season 217. DOC STEEN is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 1 back in season 213. MAD AS HELL! is a awesome opponent who was number 3 on this level last season. RYANMCK is the tactically strongest player of the last 50 seasons, the opponents have merely scored the humble average of 373 points per game. NANAOBOY is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 50 seasons), with 527 points per match (it happened in season 183 in division 5.) BGUITAR is a outstanding opponent who was number 8 on this level last season. XENAK2 is the most frequent winner in the party in the last 50 seasons, with a frequency of 2.20 victories per loss.

XENAK2, DOC STEEN, STGEEK, BGUITAR and RYANMCK are tresourous people of a kind you would not believe existed, people who out of their pure generousity donate to WLoH and keep the site running.

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. My two favourites here are mad as hell! and xenak2. They have met 2 times before in the league, and mad as hell! is ahead 2-0 in victories. So if I have to choose, I believe that mad as hell! wins this group.
