lignumvitae	So I´m now in a division that previously I won easily, and still getting my head handed to me. I can understand the influx of new players, better players, yadda yadda, but it is statistically not realistic that I would go 3 straight seasons with only 2 wins out of 19 games.	13/08 2015 06:46:36

paper13579	@wloh int judge. What you were sent by mail is a very small portion of the whole converstaion between me and lesterladd. What you saw is out of context. I explained to him that i am not using the dictionary to find words out of the letters i obtain. However, i use it to find the meanings of words he plays that i dobt understand. And feom this, i learn how to use the given word and keep it in my vocabulary.	29/07 2015 21:16:26
monty022	You also have to allow for the sudden influx of new players as a result of the link in the wordfeud app. There will be more good players and better players than before. That will make it harder for everyone to stay in divisions they may have played in the past. There´s about 250 players in divisions 1-5. If the site now has a further 250+ good and tough players since the link was added, 500 doesn´t fit into 250 so that will make it much harder to stay in div 5, and eventually division 6 will become difficult to hold your place. You are just probably experiencing the initial impacts of the growth in good players here. I´m not passing judgement on anyone´s skill levels, I´m just saying the mathematics of it all means it will get harder to stay up in your "normal" division. Cheers.	29/07 2015 14:54:05
WLoH Int Judge	Hi lignumvitae, sorry to hear you have a problem but I´m confused about what that is exactly. Lets delve deeper... Season 78 division 7 1st Season 79 division 6 1st Season 80 division 5 1st Season 81 division 4 3rd Season 82 division 4 8th Season 83 division 5 currently 7th So you came 3rd in a division you were then relegated from the next season and you are currently last in a division you previously won. I see no indication that the skill level drastically changes at a certain division. Its a bit of a fall after a quick rise but nothing too unusual. I think you have just probably met different styles of play, some you are good against, some not. There is also the luck factor concerning which tiles you and your opponents pick up. lignumvitae	My problem is this. I´m a fairly good Scrabble player, but by no means the best. In the lower echelons, I won fairly handily in most games. In the last two seasons since I moved up to the upper levels, I´ve barely managed 1 or 2 wins total, and in most of the games in this season I was already down by a lot of points early on. While I can´t pinpoint anyone as using external aids, I find it extremely unlikely that I would go from 7-0 and 6-1 season wins with a large point total, to losing to everyone very handily. Please note: This is not sour grapes. I fully realize that there are a lot of good players out there, but statistically it is highly unlikely that I would meet all of them 3 seasons in a row.	29/07 2015 08:20:20
WLoH Int Judge	You are absolutely correct, no one can say you don´t know those words. It is very difficult to 100 % prove cheating. This is why we have a voting system in place to decide whether players who get multiple complaints should continue with us or not. WLoH Int Judge	If a result has been entered incorrectly you can choose the relevant fixture, hit delete result, check you have it right then press again. You can then enter the correct score. Remember the first game you play against an opponent in a season is the only one that counts!	27/07 2015 11:18:25
WLoH Int Judge	Hi 22Bennett22, if an opponent resigns you can either take 50 points from their score and register the result or enter a 150-0 win. Your choice but the general consensus is to go with the option that´s more advantageous. The vast majority of our players enjoy and respect an honest game. Unfortunately it is not as easy to prevent those who don´t by applying your suggestions but we do have procedures for when a player has concerns their opponent is not playing fair. Accusations should not be made on here but expressed to me by email, including screenshots of any dubious play is helpful. More details on this and lots of other aspects can be found by clicking the help tab above. Genuinely fair competition is lots of fun, people who don´t appreciate this are also cheating themselves. 22Bennett22	I´ve missed something. If a player resigns then you get 150 points? Correct? Oh, and if someone is sat with a dictionary then you need to can them. This game relies on honesty. Maybe you should only be able to play in the leagues if your stats are open? And there must be some software that can identify a player suddenly banging in highly obscure words when they´re getting done over. This is a bit of fun, but there are so many cheats it´s a bit of a joke. Still, I love beating them fair and square. Far more gratifying!!!	27/07 2015 10:20:11

WLoH Int Judge	Ok Paper13579, I thought I was doing you a favour in dealing by email with the issue of your use of an aid when playing WLoH league games. I was about to reply to your response but if you wish to do it on the community board so be it. After an opponent found your play dubious they asked ´you sure this is all your own work?´ You replied ´I do use a dictionary. Can´t be against the rules´ When the other player informs you it is indeed against the rules you have no reply. This was the only chat you engaged in, it is not being taken out of context in any way. The question related to your method of attaining words. In no way could it be construed as a question in regards to understanding your opponents words. I was prepared to keep you in the league and take no action other than drop you to division 9 had you admitted you did not know using a dictionary was against the rules. I was looking for honesty. LoBot	Gosh, this is a first-rate selection! KD-13 is the greatest veteran here, with 69 games in the league of honour. That´s a lot of honour. HUGO BOSS II is the secondmost experienced player in the group, and has played continously since the debut in season 76. LIGNUMVITAE is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 5 back in season 80. CHINU2505 is a clever opponent who was number 6 on this level last season. LESTERLADD is a wonderful opponent who was number 4 on this level last season. 22BENNETT22 is the tactically strongest player of the last 20 seasons, the opponents has merely scored the humble average of 246 points per game. PAPER13579 is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 20 seasons), with 510 points per match (it happened in season 80 in division 7.) IORDO is in superb form and was just promoted from division 6. The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. With this many magnificent players it is hard to tell you who wins, but I guess paper13579 wins the season.	25/07 2015 11:59:48
