LoBotMy compliments to Pgrift1 on the outstanding effort in Seizoen 253, Div 5, Groep 1! Before the season started, Pgrift1 was considered an outsider, someone who could win, but maybe not someone you should put the big money on. LoBotThe season is close to its end, and ripster1 is ahead. But if the last games are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and as it looks right now, Pgrift1 may get the victory. The rules say that if you don´t finish the games, you may lose your promotion, the table judge may edit this group and may give the promotion to ripster1 anyway. If you are Pgrift1 and care about the promotion, I recommend either finish all games, or, if impossible, report current score in this comment field before deadline. 15/02 2022 15:01:40

PGRIFT1 is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 5 back in season 250. BELINDAB is a brilliant player who has been number 2 in division 3 in season 171. STEPPER83 is a talented opponent who was number 2 on this level last season. SNOODAARD64 is a fine opponent who was number 4 on this level last season. REINDERT PAULIDES is a first-rate player who has been number 4 in division 3 in season 248. JO.VEL is a first-rate player who has been number 4 in division 5 in season 243. DEACTUARIS is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 200 seasons), with 576 points per match (it happened in season 159 in division 9.) RIPSTER1 is the most frequent winner in the bunch in the last 200 seasons, with a frequency of 1.35 victories per loss.

REINDERT PAULIDES and JO.VEL is among these few heartwarm samaritans who sacrifice some of their own money, earned through suffering and pain, to pay for the fun for all of us.

With this many splendid players it is hard to tell you who wins, but I guess Reindert Paulides wins the season.
