Mails an Gero halte ich in dem Zusammenhang eher nicht für zielführend, zum Einen gehe ich davon aus, dass die Nutzung der Wörterliste in der App nicht von ihm autorisiert und nicht in seinem Sinne ist, und zweitens wird er seiner Liste keine "fehlenden" Wörter hinzufügen - er hält sich strikt an den Duden. Wenn man irgendjemandem mailen will, sollte das die Duden-Redaktion sein (die haben schon mehrmals Anregungen aus der Scrabble-Szene aufgenommen).

Bei Turnieren kann man ja prinzipiell erst mal alles aufs Brett legen und es ist am Gegenüber, Zweifel anzumelden. Der BADESEE* könnte also durchaus funktionieren - anders als in der App, wo das Wort eben gar nicht erst legbar ist. Ansonsten behilft man sich halt mit dem gültigen Dativ SEEBADE :-D

Wie in dem unten erwähnten "Wörterbuch" Thread zu lesen ist, ist dies weder Sache der Liga, noch wird die App Einfluss auf das von ihr verwendets "Geros SuperDic" ausüben.

Wohin du Gero eine Mail schicken könntest, ist dort auch erwähnt

Thomas7673Ja, das ist mir schon öfter aufgefallen. Vielleicht das Programm umstellen, wenn man es weiß.

Aber Dankeschön für den Moment. Es ist halt ärgerlich, wenn so was nicht zählt, aber Wörter wie Neugierigeren einfach immer weiter verlängert werden können. Lg

alexanderdings@Thomas: die generelle Antwort darauf ist, dass der Duden nicht alle plausiblen zusammengesetzten Wörter auflistet. Davon gibt es im Deutschen einfach so viele, dass es den Rahmen sprengen würde, und der Duden versucht sich dann auf diejenigen zu konzentrieren, die a) besonders häufig genutzt werden oder b) bei denen die Bedeutung oder die Schreibweise unklar sein könnten. Beide Kriterien scheint HAFTGELD offenbar nicht zu erfüllen. Da die Wortliste bei Wordfeud direkt den "Universalduden" (wenn auch eine veraltete Ausgabe) abbildet, kennt die App das Wort deshalb auch nicht.

Als Scrabbler würde man sich tatsächlich öfter mal wünschen, dass der Duden hier "großzügiger" wäre. Z. B. sind auch HAUPTMENÜ oder FUNKLOCH nicht spielbar, die aus meiner Sicht noch deutlich "normalere" Wörter sind als HAFTGELD. Bei Turnieren nutzen wir sogar den noch sparsameren Standard-Rechtschreibduden, nicht den Universalduden, sodass uns sogar Wörter wie EISMANN oder BADESEE fehlen.
