But if you do not play I will likely become first but will not promote because of the rule that you cannot benefit from a game that wasn´t played. I´d rather lose the game than to endure that. LoBot	I want to apologize for the issues the league has experienced in recent days. We´ve had some downtime, and some players have been able to play the same match twice. I believe I´ve managed to fix it now. What happened is that we switched server provider, we´ve doubled the RAM and doubled the hard disk space. The reason for the move is that during last winter, we had several instances of full-day downtime, and extended downtime like that creates significant problems for the leagues. I receive thousands of emails when it happens, and it´s challenging for me to find time to address issues related to individual matches when everything is on fire. The service becomes poor, and the tournaments unfair. So, it became evident that we had to migrate to a new server, and I´ve been preparing for this since winter. This involved a new operating system, Windows 2022. Windows 2022 requires that data queries go through a different C# library, mysqlconnector, the library I chose when I started this site in 2011 is now outdated. To implement that library, the site required an upgrade to .NET 4.7 (which is why emojis suddenly work 😃). The library for sending emails has also been outdated for many years, and I was now forced to drop it and switch to Mailkit, which seems to work better for those with Gmail but not as well for those with Yahoo. Thousands of lines of code have been rewritten, and there are new versions of everything, so debugging has been unusually challenging. The version of MySQL that the new database is running on is many years newer than the one we had, and I believe most of the problems stem from that. For example, it seems that the new MySQL responds differently to slow SQL queries; it has a lower threshold for shutting down the entire database. I believe the site will be better than ever when all of this is under control, and I hope you can endure until then.	7/09 2023 12:27:10

But looking at the situation at the top in this group it is likely that the point in question might decide between promotion or not. Should that be the case, is it possible that 2 players promote to D1 and that next season 3 players relegate again from D1?	5/09 2023 19:28:11
LoBot	We have moved to a new and bigger server recently, and that has made a mess out of the recent ordly games. Some of the games do not seem to be stored. It is going to be difficult to get this season completely fair. Also all of my current time goes to solving the underlying problems, such as the web side frequently going offline.
