DixieFireDidn’rt catch the screenshot request in time- so will just go with what was filled in although it was backwards (my fault due not identifying which score belonged to which player ) For mischievous guy & des d as I was almost 100 points ahead in those 2 games and I was ahead of JuJo at screen shot time but we’re still neck & neck post tournament with myself 12 points ahead currently. Will not complain about any decision made !! 👍🏽 As you can see there’s one close game one not so close game & 2 games where I’m clearly ahead by almost 100 points. Again, will accept whatever decision comes down as there were unusual circumstances going on during the transition & I understand. Thank you for the extra time involved.

Judge US League DIXIEFIRE. If those games are still incomplete a couple of hours before the deadline please send me screenshots and include your division and group. I’ll see if I can intervene. My address is wlohusjudge@gmail.com. I appreciate the problems players had at the beginning of the season but we were all affected similarly and I send my thanks to everyone who made the best of a difficult start.

MISCHIEVOUS GUY. I’m afraid it’s not possible to extend the season. LoBot is programmed to complete at the scheduled time and other leagues are scheduled to start.

This is how my games looked around 8:30pm MT on 27th; some games only have a few tiles left & some scores will change tomorrow. It was harder to finish all games with the new tournament games as well as the first false round of tournament games that went out. I tried always playing the new tournament games first & then after that if I still had time work on the false start tournament games, which were to be counted as practice games, as we were notified. I didn’t realize a new round had started until about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 days after it restarted because I still wasn’t getting notices in my email of new games starting. Some others may have experienced some of these same issues. Before the tournament closes I will try to send results again. Thank you. Best wishes on all the updates you’ve been making.

LoBotAt the moment, JuJo12 and Des D is in the relegation spots. But in the games that are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and that may cause DixieFire and Mischievous Guy to go down. The rules state that you cannot get an advantage simply by not finishing your games, so the table judge may edit this group with respect to relegation. LoBotThis is the second start of season 295, so you got two mail from us, the last one counts. If you managed to start any games before that second mail, they are considered training matches. I want to apologize for these and other issues the league has experienced in recent days. What happened is that we switched server provider, we´ve doubled the RAM and doubled the hard disk space. The reason for the move is that during last winter, we had several instances of full-day downtime, and extended downtime like that creates significant problems for the leagues. I receive thousands of emails when it happens, and it´s challenging for me to find time to address issues related to individual matches when everything is on fire. The service becomes poor, and the tournaments unfair. So, it became evident that we had to migrate to a new server, and I´ve been preparing for this since winter. This involved a new operating system, Windows 2022. Windows 2022 requires that data queries go through a different C# library, mysqlconnector, the library I chose when I started this site in 2011 is now outdated. To implement that library, the site required an upgrade to .NET 4.7 (which is why emojis suddenly work 😃). The library for sending emails has also been outdated for many years, and I was now forced to drop it and switch to Mailkit, which seems to work better for those with Gmail but not as well for those with Hotmail. Thousands of lines of code have been rewritten, and there are new versions of everything, so debugging has been unusually challenging. The version of MySQL that the new database is running on is many years newer than the one we had, and I believe most of the problems stem from that. For example, it seems that the new MySQL responds differently to slow SQL queries; it has a lower threshold for shutting down the entire database.
