Lastly, I am willing to play my game against multiimage if he is now back to playing and the other players feel that some of us shouldn´t have had such advantage . It is upto the officials to decide if such replay is permissible.

1 I agree I´ve benefitted from this entirely undeservedly. But given that sometimes, a player will have 72 hours when they´re too busy, or they have a ´phone fault, or whatever -- opponents who make their moves promptly are more likely to benefit. If the ball is in your opponents court for linger, you´re more likely to benefit from a mishap. I´m certainly not saying I deserve this luck, but it is posdible to play in a way that makes you slightly more likely to benefit.

2, and more importantly, in the long run this sort of thing should balance out. I´ve been lucky this time, but I could just as easily be unlucky next time (in that a rival for promotion gets the advantage of an opponent timing out when I don´t).

3 But fundamentally, vinod_m and I have been lucky -- just as I was lucky in our game when, in a tight finish, I picked up some helpful tiles. Did I get an "unfair advantage" then too? Well, maybe I did -- but a lot of this game is luck, and we just have to roll with it. May a chess league is the solution if you want to eliminate luck altogether! Me? I love the luck element. It´s great when Lady Luck smiles on you (as she has done very graciously this season for me), and when we play suboptimally we can always blame the tile gods and no-one will be any the wiser!!
