Some ideas to make Wordfeud more fun :

β€’ Include the official Van Dale Scrabble dictionary (for the Dutch language). That will attract many more Scrabble entusiasts to Wordfeud.

β€’ Offer a function to test the validity of a word *before* it is your turn to play. That will allow faster and shorter competitions - maybe even weekly ones.

β€’ Offer a function to test a word without submitting it already. That way, players can dig for the best option.

β€’ Make the drawing of new letters available for ALL players in a competition. That way, you eliminate the factor of luck and focus entirely on skill. Each player will earn the points of his or her own solution, but the word of the player which has the highest score will appear on the board when all players have entered their move. Then the new letters are drawn and distributed to all players for the next entry. This variant without the factor of luck could be optional (but I for one would only play this variant of Wordfeud - and be happy to contribute for it, too !)

LoBotMy compliments to Bart Viaene on the outstanding effort in Seizoen 307, Div 8, Groep 121! Before the season started, Bart Viaene was considered an outsider, someone who could win, but maybe not someone you should put the big money on. LoBotYes! I love it when we gather such a divine lot! SUPWIL11 is the player here who has won most groups, with a total of 39 victories. EVESSEN is a great player who has been number 4 in division 6 in season 127. DODDEBOL is a superb opponent who was number 5 on this level last season. G.I. JOS is in fine form and was just promoted from division 9. LA-NORMA10 is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 8 back in season 303. DNBIG is the tactically strongest player of the last 50 seasons, the opponents have merely scored the humble average of 388 points per game. SENNA2307 is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 50 seasons), with 506 points per match (it happened in season 276 in division 9.) BART VIAENE is the most frequent winner in the lot counting the last 50 seasons, with a frequency of 1.52 victories per loss.

SENNA2307 is a warm and generous human being who donates and helps WLoH pay the bills.

With this many awesome players it is hard to tell you who wins, but I guess la-Norma10 ends up as the winner here.
