Ordly Judge	Thanks jorgenhus! That´s useful feedback. My sense is that 2-0 could work, as that way it´s not such a ridiculous spread that it will have a huge impact, but it´s enough to make the player who has taken their turn feel like they have not been disadvantaged compared to what they actually scored. For example, looking at this group (and excluding games where one player forfeited), I count 18 games where a player won by one point, 11 with a two-point margin of victory, and only three that were won with a margin of three points or more.	18/03 2024 12:34:13
jorgenhus	I think that a standard score would be much better, and, with a maximum of 9 points in one game, I think 1-0 or at most 2-0 should be set as a standard score when someone is not playing their game.	18/03 2024 12:24:26
Ordly Judge	Hi jorgenhus - yes, it´s unfortunate when a player misses most or some, but not all, of their games, and the resulting discrepancies in spread mean that some players are advantaged or disadvantaged. I can see that had both lion95 and Olaf2061 finished all their games the result at the top of the table would have been different. As admins we have been having discussions about how to deal with this scenario, as at the moment it does feel like the spread advantage a player gains when their opponent is a no-show is too much! That said, we should not take away from WayBeyondHope´s performance this season - none of us can control if our opponents play or not! Any suggestions for how the rules might be improved in future are always welcome - one suggestion is to award a standard score, such as 2-0, in a game where the opponent does not play, similar to in WordFeud, so that the impact on spread is less severe.	18/03 2024 10:55:50
