tydfilHi scrablamia. Just a bit of info - basically the numbers of groups in a division are cut in a half as the div levels rise and the numbers of players in a group usually increase. The rules page (tab at top of page) touches on this. There isn´t a way that you can increase the number of players in your group each season.

As others have mentioned, you can have more than 1 un as long as it is declared and used within the rules. I completely understand why you feel this may be a complicated option and Monty´s advice re friendlies is probably a good way to go for you. I would just offer a personal opinion and feel free to totally disregard it - I don´t think it´s best practice to play friendlies with players in your group in the current season; I have seen such games lead to confusion/disputes on too many occasions. I have one more suggestion - set up a WF Anonymous self help group!! Seriously, good luck with your games this season:)

scrablamiaThank you all for responding. I do play both US and Intl leagues, but I´ve noticed that I´m always limited to 7 or 8 opponents within a season, rather than say 10 or 12 opponents (arbitrary numbers). The 2 UN deal sounds a bit complicated, so that probably won´t work for me. All in all, I´m just a WF addict, who still can´t get enough of the game that I´ve been playing for the past 2 years. monty022Just a word of advice before you sign up for the US league. The dictionary, whilst similar, is frustratingly limited and annoying to play with. I play US league to fill in time of second week of international league which can be quiet. Of course if you just want games with a semi decent competitor, send me a challenge and we can play some friendlies. Cheers 14/12 2015 17:24:06
Steve^WHi guys, I hope you don´t mind me chipping in. If you end up using 2 usernames then you´ll need to be confident that you can make this work on the device(s) that you use. Whilst there´ll usually be someone on here who will try to help, I believe the onus is on the player themselves to make the 2 UN option work. If you have two devices that are *not* linked by iCloud then no problem, you can use a different user on each. If you have an android phone, then I understand that you can install WF free and WF paid alongside each other and have a seperate user in each. In the last windows tablet WF app that I used you can login/out and hence swap between users (running the risk of missing invites of course). On iPhone/iPad we have had people struggle to make 2 users work (although I´m told it is possible). Anyway, just passing on advice ... You will need to be confident you can make it work without causing your opponents or the league admins any pain ;-) Ta, Steve. 14/12 2015 14:31:18
WLoH ModeratorHi scrablamia...there are two ways of getting extra games. The first is to join the US English league as well as playing in this league.....or in any of the different language leagues if you happen to be a linguist the number of possible games is endless. All accessed via the sign up tab above.

The alternative is to have more than one username. Remember that you must own username on WF to be able to use it here.

LoBotGosh, this is a splendid group! COKEY11 is the Yoda of the selection, with 74 seasons in the league. AGATHA SUSANA is the secondmost experienced player in the group, and has played continously since the debut in season 79. ROYRAMESH is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 30 seasons), with 475 points per match (it happened in season 85 in division 5.) WANDERCHILD is a wicked player who has been number 2 in division 5 in season 91. SAPPHIE79 is a virtuoso player who has been number 2 in division 5 in season 91. ANDREWORDPRO is a skilful player who has been number 4 in division 5 in season 92. SCRABLAMIA is the most frequent winner in the group in the last 30 seasons, with a frequency of 3.6 victories per loss. MOHD_2825 is the tactically strongest player of the last 30 seasons, the opponents has merely scored the humble average of 291 points per game.

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. If I were to guess, I would say that cokey11 ends up as the winner here.
