tydfilI sent a screenshot to the judge last night. The shot was of an invite I received from the un friedswill (now not found on WF). Every day is a school day and last night I learned that, whilst the invite in the WF app doesn´t show the inviter´s pic, the notification that appears at the top of the screen does:)

When I first posted last night in response to Georgie´s ´STOP PRESS: fried swill is flirting with relegation´ his post remained. He deleted it and then posted saying that he didn´t know what I was talking about. Following my assertion that he did, indeed, know what I was talking about he deleted that post. His subsequent posts give the lie to his disclaimer.

In his latest post G has said ´I wasn´t implying she was a cheat as was the subject matter when fried swill was used.´ The player that posted re fried swill and cheating originally made it very clear that (I quote) ´I am so sorry, I was COMPLETELY kidding, I would have never posted the joke if I knew it would offend in any way.´ See posts below for further insight. I believe that the player concerned suffered sufficient mortification at the time and there should have been nothing more said about it. Georgie´s latest post implies that the player concerned was seriously suggesting that I cheated. He was not.

I am sure the advice will be helpful to some players but I do not need to consult Wikipedia to know when a player is having a crack at me.

@ihockey, whilst I accept your view, you are not the player being harassed and so if I were you I would chill and either ignore or observe.

Every player should be able to play without being harangued by a stranger.

I called Tydfil ´fried swill´ as that´s what another player once called her and I thought it funny. That´s all. I wasn´t implying she was a cheat as was the subject matter when fried swill was used. I retracted my comment before her post as I thought she might not take the joke about relegation. My call was correct as it happens. I didn´t retract for the ´fried swill´ comment. As you say, I should have thought about that before posting. However, I did remove it promptly. This is all a bit silly now. A fuss over nothing. Anyhow, humble apologies and keep up the good work. WLoH Int AssistHi Tydfil, re your thought that I must have seen the initial post, no unfortunately I didn´t. I was online shortly after the subsequent discussion started it would seem. If there are ongoing concerns or a screenshot exists then players can email the judge though. I do see a positive in that a player correctly decided to remove a post after having second thoughts. Better of course to consider before hand I know. And that is probably good advice for anyone and everyone! Before posting take a few breaths and think about whether you could be offending someone. Wikipedia has some good advice on what can be considered outright verbal abuse by the way, e.g. name calling, judging (obviously the current judge has to do this as it´s their role!), accusing, ... 6/01 2016 15:45:26

There was a matter that was dealt with and for which a player was criticised. The matter had been put to bed. You seek to resurrect it. It was and is, none of your business but clearly an impending promotion has gone to your head. If you choose to follow my progress (or lack of it) in the league that´s up to you but I think your interest is bordering on stalking tendencies. My un is Tydfil not fried swill and in the interest of your education I should point out that it doesn´t truly rhyme. I wish you no ill but suspect you need to seek your own counsel before posting. I am not the only player to whom you have made unprovoked and ill judged posts/comments. I am probably more laissez faire than a lot of people and just shrug it off. Not all are so tolerant. WLoH Int JudgeI also need to make it clear that no one is ´above reproach´. All players are treated the same, if cheat complaints are received (in the correct manner by email) and enough evidence attained an investigation by vote will be started. WLoH Int JudgeI have removed nofatjack´s comment as requested. The subject of cheating and the measures we taking to eliminate it is not something to be joked about. Cheat accusations are offensive and not humorous ´material´ that can be used to jest. All players need to be careful when making remarks about others, you should be very sure someone will consider your comment acceptable and in no way offensive.

I believe Nofatjack made an unintentional mistake. Their intent was to joke and they didn´t fully consider the implications of their comment. As they have made a genuine apology and given a good explanation no action is required on this occasion. I trust they will not make a similar mistake again.

I would prefer if wloh did not get involved. WLoH Int JudgeEvery season a random group or groups will be chosen and all players required to send in at least one screenshot of a game board. Division 3 group 3 has been picked this season. The screenshot should be from your current group and a complete game or close to finishing.

If there are any games in particular which feature dubious words or suspicious play then you should choose that one and inform us why. The information will be treated as confidential.

If any player does not provide a screenshot they will be relegated to the division below the one they would have started in next season. They may also be subjected to an investigation by vote.

The vast majority of league members are genuine and honest players, we do this for your benefit and appreciate your cooperation. Please send your screenshots to wlohint@gmail.com. Thanks in advance for helping us ensure the league is one of honour.

LoBotHere we have a good bunch! TYDFIL is the most mature player in this selection, with 89 seasons in this tournament. JUSTBOND27 is number 4 on the all time table of division three, for all groups in all divisions in all seasons. KARENLILAK is a outstanding player who has been number 9 in division 2 in season 90. EWAWESH is the tactically strongest player of the last 20 seasons, the opponents has merely scored the humble average of 278 points per game. PATRON-86 is a terrific multitalent and does also demolish opponents in division 3 in Wordfeud US English while playing here. DR YODA is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 3 back in season 89. TRENTP4 is a marvellous multitalent and does also humiliate opponents in division 3 in Wordfeud US English while playing here. NOFATJACK is the most frequent winner in the lot in the last 20 seasons, with a frequency of 6.25 victories per loss. AMAKHUSA is a divine opponent who was number 3 on this level last season.

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. We have so many superb players here that it is difficult to pick a winner, but my guess is that Dr Yoda ends up as the winner here.
