If Wordfeud isn’t sending push notifications, here are the most effective things you can try:

⚙️ 1. In-App Notification Toggle

Turn notifications off and back on inside the Wordfeud app. This forces a re‑registration with Apple/Google push servers. Many users report this fixes it .

📱 2. Check System Notification Settings

iOS: go to Settings → Notifications → Wordfeud and make sure “Allow Notifications” is enabled.

Android: go to Settings → Apps → Wordfeud → Notifications and ensure notifications are turned on .

Also, disable any “Do Not Disturb” or silent modes and ensure background data is allowed.

🔋 3. Disable Battery Saver / Sync

Battery saver or auto-sync features can block notifications.

Android: disable Battery Saver or add Wordfeud to the “Optimized” list, and ensure Accounts & sync → Background data is enabled .

🔄 4. Reinstall the App

Uninstalling and reinstalling Wordfeud can reset notification permissions—without losing your games (they’re stored server‑side) .

🔧 5. Reset Network/Settings (iPhone Specific)

If nothing else works:

1. Reset network settings: Settings → General → Reset → Reset Network Settings.

2. Still stuck? Back up your phone and Reset All Settings (this won’t erase your apps/data but clears customized settings) .

Antonio PetzJeg har længe oplevet, at Wordfeud-appen på min iPhonen ikke leverer pushbeskeder.

Jeg må således besøge appen ofte, for at se, om mine modstandere har taget deres tur.

Er der andre, der oplever det samme. Jeg har tjekket indstillingerne og alt ser rigtigt ud.

Hvis man dividerer sin gennemsnitsscore pr. kamp med gennemsnitsscoren pr. træk, får man gennemsnittet for antallet af træk pr. kamp.

For stort set alle jeg har tjekket, dem med tilgængelige WF data, har jeg fundet dette som værende næsten konstant.

Mit eget gns er 17,5 træk/kamp. Det gælder for mange andre også, men ranget er 17-18. Jeg vil vove den påstand, at det totale snit for alle spillere (1. og 2. div.) vil ligge meget tæt på 17,5.

Det tager dermed i gennemsnit 35 træk at gennemføre et spil. 18+17 træk.

Vi har 14 dage til at afvikle kampene. Dvs at ét træk om dagen ikke nok…

LoBotYes! I love it when we gather such a fine group! KIRK & KO is the one with most experience here, with 2740 games in the league. HACH3112 is a wicked player who actually won the entire league in season 234. 1 LETTERMAN is a tremendous player who has been number 4 in division 1 in season 282. TRAX53 is a superior opponent who was number 2 on this level last season. KENROCC is the player here who has won most groups, with a total of 47 victories. ANDERS.WOLF is a erudite opponent who was number 3 on this level last season. NEFFEN is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 50 seasons), with 577 points per match (it happened in season 325 in division 2.) ORLAMF is a first-rate opponent who was number 6 on this level last season. HBHDK is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 1 back in season 340. ANTONIO PETZ is a splendid player who actually won the entire league in season 218. STEFFEN BREUM is a great player who has been number 5 in division 1 in season 337. THETHE is the most frequent winner in the bunch counting the last 50 seasons, with a frequency of 2.49 victories per loss.

TRAX53 and ANDERS.WOLF is among these few heartwarm samaritans who sacrifice some of their own money, earned through suffering and pain, to pay for the fun for all of us.
