Monty022 Very good. And now your player name makes more sense. Competitive chess. I rarely get to play that any more but I did play some chess in my younger days (not competitively). I do play competitive tournament scrabble although less these days. However, at my peak pre-Covid I won a state scrabble championship (once) although it was the smallest state, and all the highly ranked players were absent, but I did have to beat a former Australian champion to claim the title. However, I looked back to last season as I wanted to see what you did after SALET with a yellow L (Does anyone else do this trying to gauge how your opponent might solve?) which you did v CornerTakenQuickly and you played CURIO second which would have locked the O in 5th and a yellow “I” which would really have narrowed the solution field and made a 7-7 draw the likely outcome 🤷.
