International Judge Sherkin Pat there is nothing wrong with the rules if our site computer automatically picks up on the fact that the results have been affected by non-participation and therefore promotes the correct person. Sherkin PatThanks LoBot for the common sense approach. This is the third time I´ve been promoted from Div 8 to Div 7 in these circumstances, which is in fact, every time! If I may suggest - there is something wrong with the rules if someone who only plays 3 games can technically win the league, and maybe they need to be ammended. I´d strongly encourage everyone in the division to finish their games - that´s what we signed up for after all. Cheers - and thanks to all for the games. 20/09 2025 10:09:40
LoBotWhen I entered the automatic results in the unfinished games, Lilly Annwon the group. The table is what it is, but the rules makes it difficult to get promoted without finishing the games, so I have suggested for the table judge that Sherkin Pat is promoted instead. 20/09 2025 00:00:50

But if the last games are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and as it looks right now, Lilly Ann may get the victory. The rules say that if you don´t finish the games, you may lose your promotion, the table judge may edit this group and may give the promotion to Sherkin Pat anyway.
