LoBot	At the moment, 27102012 and king24mac is in the relegation spots. But in the games that are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and that may cause DesiDreamer and thefireishot to go down. The rules state that you cannot get an advantage simply by not finishing your games, so the table judge may edit this group with respect to relegation. If you have intel on unfinished games (current score, reason for delay) that the judge ought to know, I recommend posting the information here before deadline.	5/02 2016 02:09:12

tydfil	Hi there roundtop - please be assured that my comments were in no way directed at you as an individual; they were intended for the community at large. With coffee and time in hand this morning, I thought the timing and context provided an apposite opportunity to post about something that has been nagging at me for a while. I don´t see that you have stepped outside the rules but rather, you have not used them to your best advantage. I don´t think you need to apologise for that:) You are entitled to enter 150-0 against an opponent who resigns and if you wish, you can overwrite the existing entry. I would stress that is entirely up to you and I will have no problem whatever you decide. I simply wanted to highlight the knock on effect of a result entered for a resigned game. I was going to post in a similar vein at the time but once the WLoH team became involved I held my keyboard:)} I have no wish to become involved in a discussion on the community page involving an individual player re an event that has passed and which anybody who read the posts was aware of at the time. I hope you understand that:). In any event (I just looked) the player who resigned is now in relegation position and not going to move out of it I posted this morning (my time!) simply in the hope that the impact of not applying the resignation options will be considered by all concerned in the future.	29/01 2016 19:09:11

tydfil	Hi WLoH asst and roundtop. I do hope you don´t my posting but there is something that has been nagging at me for a while and I have lost the battle to keep it to myself. I realise that sometimes people feel the 150/-50 rule is a little harsh on their opponent. I share no such sentiments (unless there were very exceptional circumstances). The rule impacts beyond serving as a deterrent to discourage resignations. It´s use or not can easily affect other other players. It will impact spread which in turn impacts positioning in the group including relegation/promotion. Spread is not only a tiebreaker in itself but is also involved in the formula for calculating ranking (see the rules page). Ranking can be an ultimate tiebreaker if points and spread are equal I have first hand experience of this in a recent season so, whilst rare, it does happen. Ranking also decides whether or not a player benefits from a vacancy in a group higher than that in which they would otherwise play - not so uncommon in holiday periods when players tend to skip seasons. There has been an instance recently where a player clearly stated that they had resigned because they knew they would lose the game but the 150-0 was not applied. I accept it is the choice of the ´winner´ but think the outcome for the group as a whole should be borne in mind when deciding what to do. @roundtop hopefully you are aware of the rules as you have been playing since the league´s inception. LoBot	A tip from the rules: If the opponent resigns, you can either register a 150-0 victory for yourself, or deduct 50 points from the score of your opponent. Don´t register anything if the match never starts. Also, don´t register a temporarily result in a match that is not finished before deadline, but feel free to report such scores in the comment field.	27/01 2016 08:20:50

ROUNDTOPTEXAS is the player with the highest average score in a season, with 382 points per match (it happened in season 70 in division 5.) SOI9CAT is the secondmost experienced player in the group, and has played continously since the debut in season 85. 27102012 is a wonderful opponent who was number 5 on this level last season. DESIDREAMER is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 8 back in season 94. DAMOLA089 is a great player who has been number 5 in division 8 in season 95. THEFIREISHOT is the most frequent winner in the group, with a frequency of 4.0 victories per loss. The winner gets promoted.
