tydfil	Hi again randynbella. Yes 2 points for a win and in the event of a draw, both players get 1 point. If players have the same number of wins then the spread is the decider. The formula you have quoted below is for ranking/rating in the League. This rarely comes into play; it is used as a tie breaker if players in a group have equal points plus equal spread and also to award a place in a higher division if there happens to be a vacancy.	19/02 2016 03:27:52

Randynbella	First, the previous season is calculated. In wordfeud, the formula is 5000 - (division no. * 900) + (avg. points per game * 850) + (avg. margin per game * 4). Example of calculation: say you play in division 5, you played 8 matches, won 4 lost 4, hence got 8 points. You got a spread of 4400-4000. Then the value of your season is 5000-(5900)+(8/8850)+((4400-4000)/8*4)= 5000-4500+850+200 = 1550. This is the number showing on the players´ page. The rating is the average of this number and your current rating. That means the last season you played counts for 50 % of the rating, the second-to-last season 25 % , then 12,5 % , 6,25 % and so on.... SORRY I CANNOT GRASP THIS AT ALL. ??	19/02 2016 03:04:59

I cannot place first even though I have the greater point spread, because others participated in previous seasons??? tydfil	Hi randynbella there is a rules page accessed via a tab at the top of the page. Amongst other useful info the rules explain how points/spread are used to decide positions in a group. LoBot	The season is close to its end, and Zaara 65 is ahead. But if the last games are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and as it looks right now, Goodcarol may get the victory. The rules say that if you don´t finish the games, you may lose your promotion, the table judge may edit this group and may give the promotion to Zaara 65 anyway. If you are Goodcarol and care about the promotion, I recommend either finish all games, or, if impossible, report current score in this comment field before deadline.	19/02 2016 00:01:25
LoBot	A tip from the rules: If the opponent resigns, you can either register a 150-0 victory for yourself, or deduct 50 points from the score of your opponent. Don´t register anything if the match never starts. You can delete incorrect results using the drop downs and delete result button, once the page reloads you have to push the button again to confirm. KAZMED is a awesome opponent who was number 7 on this level last season. DJ_MR_SMITH is a excellent player who has been number 4 in division 7 in season 81. ZAARA 65 is the most frequent winner in the party in the last 50 seasons, with a frequency of 1.10 victories per loss. NICQI is the player here who most recently went undefeated through an entire season, it happened in 8. division in season 96. The winner gets promoted.
