shloer@undertheboardwalk. I think that player was me. I had the bingo (sleeted) as I had a blank but I literally couldn´t see where to put it. I couldn´t play it down and I didn´t see the option to play is across. When I saw it (under FAD) it was Sooooo obvious... but I didn´t see it. I was hoping you would play a word that would leave me able to play the S at the end so passed (I thought I only passed once!!)

Sometimes I hold off on placing a bingo at the end if there are still tiles in the bag and I will expose a DW-TW combo. In that case I try to wait until the bag is empty and then play the bingo. It doesn´t always work (where you wanted to play the bingo might get used) but it´s better than playing a bingo, feeling great about yourself and your opponent whacks you with a DW-TW game winning play!!!

WLoH Int AssistHi copo, 2 go down. Lobot was commenting that payers can´t avoid relegation via automatic results (results applied when a game remains unfinished). Things have moved on since lobots post, but the 2 players with incomplete games yet to comment really should post a comment re the current standings in those games if they´re concerned about what happens. I have passed during the end game when I´m well behind but have a potential bingo (basically hoping my opponent will open up a spot to play and that I can snatch victory). It´s a pretty high risk strategy as players can (and do) work out what´s going on and play accordingly. Passing back can force your opponents hand in this circumstance btw given the three pass rule (if you´re well ahead and can afford the hit of unplaced tiles to your score of course). In WF you either need a massive lead or to have closed down big scoring opportunities on the board. Some of the better players in the league may have some thoughts and comments too? 19/02 2016 06:07:42

shloerI just completed a game with undertheboardwalk and registered the result. I have two games still open. I am close to the end with Copo1978 (empty bag) and it looks like I will lose that one. I am mid-way through (21 left in the bag) with King trippp and it´s 235 versus 222 at the moment - nothing in it. I hadn´t started with M dot G but have sent an invite and will try to get that closed out before the deadline. I shouldn´t affect relegation or promotion battles is my guess. 19/02 2016 00:35:53
LoBotAt the moment, merzin26 and M dot G is in the relegation spots. But in the games that are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and that may cause merzin26 and Shloer to go down. The rules state that you cannot get an advantage simply by not finishing your games, so the table judge may edit this group with respect to relegation. If you have intel on unfinished games (current score, reason for delay) that the judge ought to know, I recommend posting the information here before deadline. 19/02 2016 00:01:29
LoBotA tip from the rules: If the opponent resigns, you can either register a 150-0 victory for yourself, or deduct 50 points from the score of your opponent. Don´t register anything if the match never starts. Also, don´t register a temporarily result in a match that is not finished before deadline, but feel free to report such scores in the comment field. 17/02 2016 10:32:13

tydfilHi undertheboardwalk. Re being taken to div 1. If you are logged out then obviously the site doesn´t know who you are and so cannot take you to your results page. I am not sure what is different from your previous entry but this is what happens for me - it may or not help and apologies if I have wasted your time! On my phone WLoH, WF and a couple of other things are left open and every time I unlock my phone I gave a quick press to refresh them. That means unless I have an ´I am not looking at a screen/talking to anyone today´ period (which I do occasionally - laugh if you wish:)) I am always logged into WLoH. I also use a Surface for WLoH and very occasionally a PC. I am often logged out on those automatically - don´t know the timescale for that happening because it doesn´t bother me but would hazard a guess at a couple of days.

Re ´sore losers´ not completely sure what you mean but if what I think it is please do not post in the forum!! If you have an issue with in game chat, for example, just email a screenshot to the judge as per the rules page.

LoBotPeople, this is a wicked party! SHLOER is the greatest veteran here, with 553 games here. KING TRIPPP is the secondmost experienced player in the group, and has played continously since the debut in season 71. BEANS_56 is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 6 back in season 89. MERZIN26 is the tactically strongest player of the last 20 seasons, the opponents has merely scored the humble average of 173 points per game. WAYBEYONDHOPE is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 20 seasons), with 494 points per match (it happened in season 87 in division 7.) COPO1978 is a intelligent opponent who was number 6 on this level last season. M DOT G is the player here who most recently went undefeated through an entire season, it happened in 8. division in season 96. UNDERTHEBOARDWALK is the most frequent winner in the selection in the last 20 seasons, with a frequency of 4.40 victories per loss.

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. I feel pretty confident that Beans_56 ends up as the winner here.
