LoBotThe season is close to its end, and Levernet16 is ahead. But if the last games are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and as it looks right now, methesaurus may get the victory. The rules say that if you don´t finish the games, you may lose your promotion, the table judge may edit this group and may give the promotion to Levernet16 anyway. If you are methesaurus and care about the promotion, I recommend either finish all games, or, if impossible, report current score in this comment field before deadline. 19/02 2016 00:01:29
LoBotA tip from the rules: If the opponent resigns, you can either register a 150-0 victory for yourself, or deduct 50 points from the score of your opponent. Don´t register anything if the match never starts. Also, don´t register a temporarily result in a match that is not finished before deadline, but feel free to report such scores in the comment field. 17/02 2016 10:32:13
WLoH Int AssistHi levernet16, this could be good feedback for the makers of Wordfeud (support@wordfeud.com, check out their website, twitter or Facebook pages). The league is slightly separate from Wordfeud itself - although if most league players were in agreement on a suggested improvement i reckon that would hold some weight with the WF developers :-) of course some players may prefer the challenge of less open play. 16/02 2016 19:57:30
Levernet16Dear Lobot, am relatively new to Wordfeud. It´s terrific, but think needs some adjustment. The fact is that if you don´t get either of the high scoring letters your chances of winning are significantly diminished. I note as I climb up the table the games are less enjoyable because people are (understandably) playing more tactically. I think the way to improve open play and improved the enjoyment of the game is to increase the tariff for laying down all of your letters. Best Dave 16/02 2016 18:33:00
WLoH Moderatorfrodoyoung - you have two options. One is to score the game 150-0 in your favour. The other option is to reduce your opponent´s score by 50 points. Choose the option which gives you the greatest spread of points. 11/02 2016 21:49:51

LoBotYes! I love it when we gather such an excellent bunch! ELBERBS09 is the player here who has won most groups, with a total of 4 victories. METHESAURUS is the one who most recently won a group on a decent level, the player won division 7 back in season 94. FRODOYOUNG is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 20 seasons), with 429 points per match (it happened in season 93 in division 7.) KATVONVUE just came down from 6.division and is probably eager for revenge. BREWLOOPY is a divine player who has been number 1 in division 8 in season 96. DONROCK is the most frequent winner in the gang in the last 20 seasons, with a frequency of 13.0 victories per loss. FIFIE2 is the tactically strongest player of the last 20 seasons, the opponents has merely scored the humble average of 133 points per game. LEVERNET16 is a magnificent player who has been number 1 in division 8 in season 96.

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. With this many brilliant players it is hard to tell you who wins, but I guess katvonvue ends up as the winner here.
