LoBotAt the moment, Timhotep and Smooth Cookie is in the relegation spots. But in the games that are not finished, I will set some automatic results at deadline, and that may cause Timhotep and julcoh to go down. The rules state that you cannot get an advantage simply by not finishing your games, so the table judge may edit this group with respect to relegation. If you have intel on unfinished games (current score, reason for delay) that the judge ought to know, I recommend posting the information here before deadline. 25/03 2026 15:20:14
LoBotThis weekend, I will try to launch the first season of the English Random League. It will be very similar to this one, but played on a random board and with the English International word list (SOWPODS). LoBotWe have ourselves an excellent gang! TIMHOTEP is the one with most experience here, with 1857 games in the league. TLEONIE is the player with the highest average score in a season (only counting the last 20 seasons), with 451 points per match (it happened in season 344 in division 6.) MYTRANGSTA is a brainy opponent who was number 4 on this level last season. JULCOH is a brainy player who has been number 3 in division 5 in season 341. THICKNE$$ is the player here who most recently went undefeated through an entire season, it happened in 7. division in season 359. SEAGULLBEAGLE is a magic player who has been number 2 in division 3 in season 3. SMOOTH COOKIE is a first-rate opponent who was number 5 on this level last season. NEENACH is the most frequent winner in the group counting the last 20 seasons, with a frequency of 16.0 victories per loss.

NEENACH, JULCOH and MYTRANGSTA is among these few heartwarm samaritans who sacrifice some of their own money, earned through suffering and pain, to pay for the fun for all of us.

The winner gets promoted, the two last players will be relegated. With this many good players it is hard to tell you who wins, but I guess NeenaCh will top the table at the end of the season.
