Hi. I´ve joined the US League. How do I join the International League also? Thanks.

Hi hausjac, group is no indication of ranking - "starting" position within a group kind of is. Take a look at the rules page for more detail. The top player in the last group is slightly better than the second placed player in the first group (within same division). Thx

Having been in group 5 level 5 last season and coming second with the same score as the winner although with fewer points somewhat surprised to find myself down to level 15 rather than stay in the same level or maybe 9 or 10. Am I that bad!! How do you work these things out it would be interesting to know?

Hi How can one player be playing in 2 different divisions in season 101 at the same time ? I´m playing against a player in div 5 & my brother has the same player name listed in his group in div 6.

How can I play in the English US league tournament? I signed up for it but they don´t send me any tournament schedule like English international.

I´m playing a game where the opponent is scoring very high words and has been able to place letters in a remarkable way(!) While I´m not alleging anything I´m a bit suspicious; am I obliged to play to the end or can I resign?

Hi again Phillip, I should have checked your division/group first. I see you probably don´t need any advice on league strategy / minimising losses from me!

Hi Philip, don´t raise suspicions on the forum. Email screenshots to the judge as there are processes in place to handle things like this. I wouldn´t recommend resigning as it means your opponent can subtract 50 off your score or register a 150-0 result. One of our more experienced players had some good advice about taking things play by play and trying to minimise your losses. Treat it as a challenge?

No hard feelings RAMKI. Seems the fairest way to decide. Good luck in div 6.

Refer to the rules Enne, but the answer is you may enter either 150-0, or deduct 50 points from your opponent´s score. Note, this is only in a case where your opponent resigns, if the game never starts because they don´t accept your request you leave it empty and let the system deal with it at the deadline for the season.

What do I do if my opponent resigns? Do I use the score at the time of resignation?

Gerrykh3, there is a changing of the guard happening which is inevitable with all the new talent joining the league in recent months. If you want to move up (and be careful what you wish for in case you get it), you just need to keep winning your group. You need to finish in top spot as 2nd place doesn´t get promoted.
At division 1 level, at most this only amounts to 2 players relegated/promoted each season. So the change may appear slow but it is occurring. I used to be solid div 2 player, but since the link in the app, I´m struggling on borrowed time in div 3 and soon will be div 4 and eventually div 5. It´s mathematics. There´s only roughly 32 players in div 1 and 2 combined. If you have 150 great players, they can´t all be in div 1 and 2, so people are finding themselves being pushed down the divisions. But it doesn´t really matter, as you should end up in a division with players of similar calibre, which makes for great games where you need to play well to win, but you can win. Anyway, enough rambling, best of luck, and keep winning your group!

I´ve not heard of any plans to reboot the league. The developer did post some info on their vision for the future a few seasons ago (things like teams if I remember rightly). If a random board league was ever setup it could be similar to a reboot (but not sure if there are plans for that). Re player movement: the effect of the surge in sign ups since WLoH button was added into WF may still be trickling up through the divisions ... I could be wrong, but I reckon it´s hit div 2/3 at this point. Anyone else got thoughts?

As I only joined about season 80, I just wondered where it was going. The ant heap gets bigger, but those at the top stay there.

Hi gerrykh3, interesting question! Do you mean when does this season end? Or are you asking if there´s a point where we restart everything from scratch? How do you reckon that´d work - everyone back into div 8/9 and see who gradually rises to the top again?

As we are now in season 93, and the high level players are in their dominant positions, does the series go on for ever? Or will there be a restart at some time?

Righttime, on sign up tab, scroll down half way to general options. There´s a dropdown list for other leagues. Select English International and press sign up. I think that´s all there is to it, been a while since I signed up for a league. Hope that helps, cheers.
