I have a blank screen on my game board does anyone else have the same problem? I played my first word in season 106 division 8 group 16 and the screen went blank and I am unable to get it back. Any ideas please

What happens if I challenged my opponent and they challenge me too. Do we play both games and upload the scores or just play one and abandon the other? Answer needed asap.

Hi GG, interesting point. I almost hope someone tries it as they would run the risk of their opponent submitting a shot of that game too ... and hence being caught red handed. Screenshot editing would have to be very good too...

I´ve looked at the apple website and it gives easy directions on editing a screenshot. Hope that doesn´t throw a spanner in the works re checking for cheats etc

What an excellent idea to submit screenshots. Any efforts that help keep this league devoid of cheats gets my vote. As a player who´s participated in this league since its inception, I have witnessed this league expand incredibly, unfortunately it seems with dishonourable players. With nearly 90 seasons under my belt, The signs of a cheat are obvious. I really feel as if the majority of my league games now are hounded with dishonesty, so much so that for the first time in the league, I´ve skipped a season. Taking screenshots is a minor effort to help put the H back into WLoH. Keep up the sterling work Judge, you dedicate a lot of your spare time for this & rarely get a pat on the back. Thank you from all us genuine players. :)

I´m fully supportive of the screenshot initiative. If technology and time allowed I´d say go further and make the games be played within a "tournament app" which auto recorded the results on the league and supplied more data/stats to the admins. Any competition worth its salt is open to serious scrutiny. If an athlete refused to provide a sample we´d think they were taking the p...

I´d also like to say how appreciative I am of all the efforts of judges (both past and present) and all those assisting the league in weeding out the cheats. Emailing a few screenshots of matches is a couple minutes effort, hardly a huge ask. And to the cheats, I ask why you even bother to play word games? You have no natural ability in this niche. There are thousands of other apps and games out there, so just go and crush some candy or free the Bears.

Those of us who have been playing in this league a long time appreciate all your efforts in trying to keep the league clean and we should all be prepared to help in anyway we can. Like previous posts it´s always good practice to take screenshots of all completed games to avoid the situation of "not remembering the final score etc". I think ardavey mentioned previously that if you register on his site all your games are archived and can be looked up if a game is deleted without the score being registered . Keep up the good work.

I totally agree with jay jay51. I keep screen shots for all my games! I don´t see the point in cheating, why play if your going to cheat? You can´t feel good about winning something if you have had to resort to those methods in which to win! I´m all for any techniques to get rid of them out of our league. We don´t want you, We just want genuine honest players here so if you are a cheat then you may as well quit now because the judge, admin and genuine players like myself will catch you sooner or later! The sooner the better i say!!! :)

I think that if someone is unable to take a screenshot from their phone, they may not be able to think up or workout the words they have put on the board in the first place! I think that screenshots can help, not just the players themselves(for future words that they could use) but also for the judges...sometimes it is necessary to send them in and I would say that if they are refusing to do so, then that would be deemed as a break of the rules...and therefore they would be warned and then over a consistent period of time, excluded...just my humble opinion though
