Just had the following reply from support:
"If your highest scoring word is a bingo your highest scoring word will be 40 points lower than showed when you played the word. (You get 40 points for a bingo.) From the picture the words gives you only 108 points and the bingo 40 points."
Seems strange that the bonus points for the bingo don´t count, but there it is - query answered.

Tried that, and also shut down and restarted my tablet in between, but no change

You could try logging out of your Wordfeud account and logging back in. Let us know if that works.

Hi there... looking for some clarification please.
I just played the word PIRATING, across 2 TW squares, for a score of 148. No other word was made, and the A was already laid by my opponent.
My highest move score has registered this, and correctly shows 148, however my highest scoring word remains as PUZZLE, for 108.
Can anyone please tell me why PIRATING has not registered as my highest scoring word?
