Matthew - perhaps you can indicate which players / groups you refer to?
Most enormous numbers are simply fat fingers hitting an extra number when submitting scores, e.g. 430 becomes 4430 through error and neither players nor judges notice it. In the case of judges, there are 128 groups in Div.8 alone, and 8 divisions in total. We are very few people managing everything, and it´s a voluntary position crammed in around work and family priorities. You might like to temper your demands accordingly.

Why is there so many high scores that are obviously fake/mistakes? These should be erased. Nobody ever scores 900 points let alone 37,000 in a standard Scrabble game, without cheating or lying. No game ever ends 375-25 even with the worst players without collusion between opponents (also illegal).
I hope the moderators will go through the high scores of past seasons and remove all the cheating/made up results or mistakes that weren´t corrected.
